Class of 2022 (part 2)
Anna Long, 5-10 Miamisburg
After a successful summer, Anna showcased her skills at Bethel and was impressive in many aspects of her game. She can shoot the 3 with range. Also has good on ball defense. I liked her ability to get in and rebound. Also likes to go up strong in the post area. Needs to get stronger and not back away from contact. Excited to see her game grow over the next couple of years.
Camryn Gleason, 5-6, Newton
She displays many great point guard abilities. She is a small and quick guard that allows her to make her opponents tired and keep them guessing. She involves her teammates first and moves well without the ball. Needs to continue working on being an outside threat and working on ballhandling.
Kaitlyn Seibel, 6-0, Stebbins
She has the ability to show a great presence in the post. Does a nice job giving guards great passes and allow her team to have an inside or outside game. Will continue to improve which will allow her strength and size to become an offensive threat.
Trinity Bellard, 5-7 Middletown Christian
I believe she could be a nice next-level kid. She shows the ability to use her length by being active defensively. She won’t take any plays off and her opponents don’t want to be matched up against her. Trinity is at her best when she outruns her opponents and use her speed and length to blow by the defender. Continue working on being under control and being more of an outside threat.
Claire Henson Claire Henson 5'11" | PF Valley View | 2022 State OH , 5-7 Valley View
Look for Claire to continue to grow her game and be a major impact with the Spartans. She shows the ability to handle the ball and run the floor well. She also uses your length to attack her defenders off the dribble to the rim. Needs to use her length and show active arms to her advantage on the defensive end.
Samantha Hoelscher, 5-8 Marion Local
Had some people buzzing with her improvement as the day progressed. She uses her quickness and length to attack her defender off the dribble well. Great finisher while being contested. Once she polishes her game and gets some more varsity time, she will be a big factor. One to watch!
Crysta LaCrosse, 5-7 Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame
She has a nice all-around style to her game. Offensively, she shows crafty passes and handles the ball well. She has the ability to catch and shoot that makes it hard to defend. On the defensive end, her hustle and on ball defense allows her opponent to not want to be matched up against you. Needs to work on getting her defender on her hip to make getting by them easier.
