Class of 2023
Sophie Huffman, 5-5 Wilmington
She shows the ability to have great handles with the ability to quickly change direction. Being able to push the ball in transition and push the tempo gives her teammates easy looks and baskets. Sophie moves well without the ball and leaves her defender guessing when driving to the basket. Just needs to continue working on her craft and overall game.
Abby Holtman, 5-10 Ryle (KY)
She displays a high IQ for the game. She are adaptable in many positions and this allows her to take her defenders off the dribble or be a deadly shooter with range. Aggressive player on the defensive end that transitions into her offense. Continue working on your craft. She is very talented.
Lexee Brewer, 5-4 Sidney
She is at her best when she gets the rebound and pushes the ball in transition. Lexee keeps the game fast by pushing the ball down the court and creating opportunities for her teammates. Nice form and ability to shoot with range. Keep working on confidence to be more of threat offensively.
Jessica Moore, 5-5 Edgewood
Jessica has an ability to move without the ball and be able to fill when her teammates are driving. Her offensive game shows that she attacks the basket well. Keep improving on ballhandling and being confident on offense when having to handle the ball.
Kyla Irby, 5-7 Summit Country Day
She shows the ability to attack her defender to the basket with quickness. Her quickness also transitions her to the defensive end where she does a great job hassling her opponent with great on ball defense. She can finish well under pressure. Continue working on seeing the basket and being under control when penetrating.
Raeven Raye Redmond, 5-8 Trotwood Madison
Raeven shows extreme quickness on the offensive and defensive end. Her lockdown on-ball defense allows her opponents to not want to be matched up with her. Offensively, she has an ability to blow by your defender which allows her to display a great 1v1 game and attack the basket. Continue being an offensive threat and not hesitating on the shot when open.
Samantha Bardonaro, 5-5 Vandalia Butler
I expect her to be one of the better players in the Miami Valley League right from the start. Aggressive hard-nosed multidimensional player who can score in various ways, including a deadly perimeter shot. Mature for a freshman, Sam has solid handles, sees the floor well and makes good decisions. Excited to see her game grow.
Allie Stockton Allie Stockton 5'11" | PF Sidney | 2023 State OH , 5-11 Sidney
Like Bardonaro, Allie is another player who should step right in and shine in the MVL. She is multidimensional also, with the ability to be strong at the rim, or bury the perimeter shot over the defender. A strong 2-way guard who is just as effective on defense as she is on offense. A high motor and incredible basketball IQ, she will draw the attention from coaches over the next few years.
