Here are a few things that stood about her play in this game:
Defensive instincts:
She got into a lot of passing lanes, came up with steals on a regular basis and helped the team get into transition because of the defensive stops.
Tenacity:
She got an eye injury in the second quarter, sat a couple minutes, and came back in to dominate the rest of the game.
Leadership:
The emotional team leader, she was always encouraging others and talking defensively at big moments.
Passing:
Some of the other players were having better shooting games in this one. She threw a few dimes, especially to teammate Rones, who killed it from behind the arc in all four quarters.
Scoring:
She can always get better on her shot. She was aggressive in getting to the hoop to score on layups and getting shots at the line.
