Brynn Farrell | St. Rose
Farrell is off to a tremendous start this season. She is putting the ball in the basket at will from all over the floor. She has knocked down 17 three’s on the season and has four games where she made 10 or more foul shots. The Florida commit is averaging 22.3 points per game so far. She is a strong rebounder from the guard position and has a game where she grabbed 15 boards. Farrell has a chance to lead the state in scoring and she will be up there in many categories when it is all said and done.
Emma Boslet | St. Thomas Aquinas
Boslet recently became St. Thomas Aquinas’ all-time leading scorer. She has scored more points than any girl or boy to ever step on the Trojans’ court. And she is far from done. Boslet is averaging 17.1 points per game this season and has scored in double-figures in all 10 games. Aside from scoring, Boslet is an elite rebounder. She has four double-doubles this season. Boslet has committed to St. Joseph’s for next season. Before moving on, she will lead a strong St. Thomas Aquinas team.
Kayla Richardson | Middletown South
Richardson is averaging 15 points per game this season. In Middletown South’s previous win over Freehold, the LaSalle commit turned in one of the best games of the season. She finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds, six blocks, and five steals. She is a true dominant force on both sides of the ball. Middletown South has won their last two in a row. They will be led by Richardson this season wherever they go.
Kylee Watson | Mainland
Watson is not only the top ranked player in New Jersey in the Class of 2020, she is also ESPN’s No. 17 recruit nationally. The five-star prospect will join one of the best programs in the nation next season in Oregon. As a junior, Watson led Mainland to it’s first ever New Jersey Group III State Championship. She averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks per game. As a senior, the 6’4 forward discontinuing her dominance. Mainland is one of the favorites to repeat as state champions. Watson will end a great career at Mainland this season and prepare to begin another as an Oregon Duck.
Kemari Reynolds | Manchester
Along with Destiny Adams, Reynolds has turned Manchester into a powerhouse in girls’ basketball. She is a four year starting guard for Manchester who has multiple state championship rings. Reynolds will take her talents to Penn next season. They are getting a smart, unselfish point guard who knows how to make the correct play. She is not one to turn the ball over or force anything on the offensive end. Reynolds is a capable scorer but she excels at controlling the game and getting her teammates involved.
Kelsey Ransom | St. Thomas Aquinas
The Trojans have completely turned their program around. Ransom joins Boslet on a team that is hungry for a state championship. To begin the season, Ransom is scoring 12.3 points and grabbing 9.3 rebounds per game. In a win over South Plainfield, Ransom finished with 13 points, 18 rebounds, eight assists, and seven steals. This was one of six games where the Georgetown commit finished with double-digit rebounds.
