Class of 2021: Wings To Know Prep Hoop Rankings are out and updated! With that being said, I’ve taken some time to break down some of the players on the list. These players were essential guards in the success of their teams. [player_tooltip player_id="132356" first="Natalie" last="Jens"] | 5’7 | Beaver Dam Jens is a key role player for her squad. She’s scrappy on both ends of the floor. She’s relentless and hustles the entire game. She’s really developed her leadership skills this year and sets the pace on offense. She averaged 13.8 points per game this season. In a playoff win over West Bend East, she scored 22 points. Jens is a passing specialist adding 2.3 assists per game this season. Jens holds an offer from Michigan Tech. [player_tooltip player_id="132353" first="Phoebe" last="Frentzel"] | 5’9 | Arrowhead Frentzel led her team this season in scoring. She’s a presence on offense. She plays with such poise and patience. Frentzel moves well without the ball and finds unique ways to get open. She uses her height to shoot over defenders. Opichka can attack the basket with force and finish. The junior averaged 15.5 points per game this season, leading her team. She is long and athletic which translates to her high pressure defense. She attacks the paint off a dribble and will pull up mid-range. Acker can create her own shot on the perimeter as well. She is also a very effective scorer of a pass. Playing alongside two of the state’s top prospects, Acker’s talent still shined through. She averaged 12 points per game this season. In a game over Milwaukee King, Acker scored a season-high 24 points. She distributes the ball well. Acker is a pest defensively, causing multiple turnovers per game. [player_tooltip player_id="132360" first="Olivia" last="Gamoke"] | 5’7 | Onalaska Gamoke has developed into a floor general this season.
