Zanai Jones Zanai Jones 5'5" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Hudson Catholic
Jones has been a do-it-all player on both ends of the floor for Hudson Catholic. Her performance in the semi-final was no surprise. In a 70-64 win over Pope John, Jones was all over the floor. She finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and seven steals.
Anasia Staton (2020) | Hudson Catholic
Staton was able to assert her dominance early on in this one. She finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Staton was a force down low scoring easy baskets at will and grabbing rebounds. She also knocked down some key free throws down the stretch to put this one away.
Anna Morris Anna Morris 6'3" | C Immaculate Heart | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Immaculate Heart
Morris got comfortable early in a 54-22 win over Oak Knoll. The 6’3 senior is one of the top players in New Jersey and it was clear. She finished with 13 points and they all came early to set the tone of the game. Morris was able to get whatever she wanted down low all night which was their key to victory.
Faith Pappas Faith Pappas 5'11" | SG Pope John | 2022 State NJ (2022) | Pope John
Pappas did all she could to keep Pope John in the game against Hudson Catholic. She scored a team-high 21 points and was doing it from all distances. Pappas knocked down four three’s and got to the free throw line effectively in the loss. As a sophomore, Pappas has become a leader which is a good sign for Pope John moving forward.
Alana Robinson (2022) | Pope John
Robinson is another sophomore sensation for Pope John. She finished with 17 points, seven rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. Robinson was all over the floor on the defensive end. She is a true rim protector that can dominate on both sides of the ball.
Gina Gaccione (2022) | Immaculate Heart
Gaccione served as the outside threat for Immaculate Heart. She finished with 13 points knocking down three shots from beyond the arc and four free throws. Gaccione and Morris played a nice inside out game to dominate in victory.
