Eniya Scott Eniya Scott 5'6" | PG Bayonne | 2022 State NJ (2022) | Bayonne
Scott has been dominant on both sides of the floor this season. She is an elite passer and leads the team in steals. In Bayonne’s win over Bridgewater-Raritan, Scott finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. She is part of a duo that can lead Bayonne to a state title.
Sophie Beneventine (2020) | Ridge
Beneventine was the only double-digit scorer for Ridge in their victory over Westfield. The team scored 46 points and she finished with 20 of them. She got it done from all over the floor hitting two three’s and scoring four times from the foul line.
Faith Dobosiewicz (2020) | Westfield
Westfield fell just short in the quarterfinal round but the performance by Dobosiewicz cannot be ignored. She scored 19 of her team’s 40 points and grabbed seven rebounds. The senior had an incredible season at Westfield and that continued during their run in the tournament.
Onoseta Ufuah (2020) | Franklin
Ufuah was the catalyst for Franklin as they ended Hunterdon Central’s upset bid. She scored 20 points in a 38-25 win. She knocked down three shots from behind the arc and made seven free throws. Franklin will have a tough matchup in the semi-finals and Ufuah will have to have another big performance.
Makoye Diawara Makoye Diawara 6'0" | SF Bayonne | 2020 State NJ (2020) | Bayonne
This was just Diawara’s third game out of 28 that she did not have a double-double. She finished with 10 points and five rebounds. Diawara is the other half of Bayonne’s strong duo. Bayonne is dangerous because they can still win handily when Diawara does not put up her usual numbers. That is something rare so expect her to have a big game in the semi-finals.
