It is the final look in Northwest Ohio during this special series, as we all wait for basketball to start back up. Today, we look at some of the kids in various grades, including a listing of some key freshman players who made a name for themselves this past season with a solid productive year.
This coming week, we head east to visit several other players who look to make a name for themselves on the courts this summer and next season.

<strong>Jaelle Keller, 5-5 Fresh., Castalia Margaretta</strong>
A lightning quick point guard with supreme handles. Good shooter with her feet set. Causes problems for the opposition with her on-ball pressure defense.
<strong>Ryley Kantzer, 5-7 Fresh., New Washington Buckeye Central</strong>
Long and lanky guard. High IQ who knows where to be at on the floor all the time. Great rebounder from the perimeter, and Ryley has a high upside as she continues to progress her game.

One of the better all-around players and athletes in the region in her class. Has the ability to score on a consistent basis, and is growing her game in all aspects. Bigtime hidden gem in the region.
<strong>Gabrielle Stober, 5-8 Fresh., Rockford Parkway</strong>
Young but very talented player with a good upside. One of her early strengths is the ability to break open a game with her perimeter shooting. Very good three-point range. As her game improves, watch for her to become one of the top players in the region.
<strong>Addison Freeman, 5-10 Fresh., Elida</strong>
Her skill level and basketball IQ is beyond her age. She is a multi-position player which makes her difficult to guard. Plays very poised for her age and is a natural leader.
<strong>Lexi Renner, 5-5 Fresh., Lima Bath</strong>
Great floor leader and exceptional knowledge of the game. Above average defensive player, will need more consistency in her outside game and get stronger.
<strong>Olivia Stolly, 5-8 Fresh., Lima Central Catholic</strong>
Smart heady player who can get to the foul line, and is a good shooter. Working to improve her handles and her defensive skills. Multi sport athlete who looks to take her basketball to another level.
<strong>Riley Rismiller, 6-3 Fresh., Coldwater</strong>
Bigtime gem from NW Ohio, and is among the top freshman in the Dayton area. Excellent shooter beyond the arc, solid shot blocker and keeps her hands up. Good rebounder with good anticipation, and runs the floor well in transition. Working to improve her post moves and get stronger. Great work ethic, D1 offers already.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159033" first="Kelsey" last="Erford"], 5-8 Jr., Ottawa Glandorf</strong>
Very versatile player who can play anywhere on the floor, and can guard all five positions. Very solid defender and good in the transition game, Can rebound against the taller defender, loves to push the ball north-south for easy buckets. Good court awareness, competitor.
<strong>Kaylee Freund, 5-8 Jr., New Bremen</strong>
Super athletic guard who can get to the rim against any defender. Not afraid of contact and can play through it. Steady shooter and solid defender with active hands and good basketball IQ. Excellent on-ball defender.
<strong>Kiaya Thierry, 5-6 Jr., New London</strong>
One of the best pure shooters in the area with an increasing ability to get to the rim, which she continues to work on. Loves to shoot the three, can open up a zone.
<strong>Allie Weilnau 5-11 Jr., St. Mary’s Central Catholic</strong>
Incredible leader for her team, Morgan nearly averaged a double-double as she constantly played through double teams in the paint all season. She has a great combination of athleticism, basketball IQ and heart.
<strong>Camille Endsley, 5-6 Jr., Norwalk St. Paul</strong>
Very quick first step, can get to the rim with that move. can use either hand effectively. The leftie can go right without issues. Good from beyond the arc, working on short range stop-and-pops. Very solid defender, progressing her lateral movement.
