Progression is always a good thing and the thing about not settling has always been one of the things I’ve looked at when observing players. Many young players are so far ahead of everyone in middle school or even before until they become lackadaisical as far as staying ahead of the pack and many times fall out of the mix but this group has continued to add more to their games
[player_tooltip player_id="67954" first="Ashlyn" last="Jones"] (Klein Oak)
Current Rank #11
Jones has an array of offensive weapons from mid to long-range or attacking from anywhere and elevating over defenders with ease. Great body control, plays defense including the passing lane
[player_tooltip player_id="97626" first="Bre’Yon" last="White"] (Shadow Creek)
Current Rank #13
White’s strength comes in handy as she shows power attacking and finishing after contact. Solid mid-range game, she is also a good rebounder and defender
[player_tooltip player_id="136312" first="Zoe" last="Nelson"] (Hendrickson)
Current Rank #19
Nelson can play every position at this level and multiple at the next level yet watching her keep adding over the years has been something. The three-ball is consistent, so is the midrange but she can handle the ball under pressure and finish strong. Good rebounder and can push the ball after she does
[player_tooltip player_id="97916" first="Amani" last="Bartlett"] (Houston Christian)
Current Rank #34
Bartlett committed to Tennessee as an 8th grader. Now that I have your attention, she recommitted and has made believers out of everyone because she can flat out play. Mid to long or either attacking the rim from every angle, she just gets it done
[player_tooltip player_id="136325" first="Malaysia" last="DePrisco"] (Cedar Ridge)
Current Rank #37
DePrisco caught my eye as a freshman, loved her eagerness to play defense including the passing lane yet she has put together an array of offensive skills and watching her in the open court gets me off my seat.
[player_tooltip player_id="136327" first="Jaidah" last="Black"] (Boswell)
Current Rank #39
Black can get it done numerous ways, either powering in the paint or putting it on the floor yet she also can score facing the basket. Rebounds and defends, in the paint or on the perimeter
