The 3A girl’s games brought together some of the most talent on day one of the tournament and there were several standouts from the first day at the Tacoma Dome. Each of the players listed below are college prospects that I have seen many times, but they shined the brightest with their all around play.

3A-
2022 5’7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="27948" first="Rosa" last="Smith"] (Lake Washington HS) - A very confident shooter that can score it and pass it well. Smith had more turnovers than she would have liked, but I loved her confidence and ability to be orchestrate the offense as just a sophomore.
2022 6’4 C [player_tooltip player_id="27933" first="Elise" last="Hani"] (Lake Washington HS) - One of the best rim protectors from day one. Hani has outstanding length, mobility and athleticism at 6’4. She finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds.
2021 6’0 SF [player_tooltip player_id="82936" first="Molly" last="Moffitt"] (Seattle Prep) - Moffitt was ultra aggressive looking for her own shot and was successful 50% of the time, finishing 9/18 from the field and 22 points. She did have a game high 7 turnovers and fouled out of the game, so she will want to clean that up in the next game, but her ability to stay in attack mode did stand out.
2021 5’11 SF [player_tooltip player_id="20229" first="Tamia" last="Stricklin"] (Seattle Prep) - Stricklin is the steady performer for Seattle Prep. She finished with 12 points, but had some timely baskets for the Panthers, helping them to a win over Lincoln. She will need to be more aggressive looking for her own shot in the next game versus Eastside Catholic, but she did distribute well in day one.
2021 6’3 C [player_tooltip player_id="82925" first="Sharayah" last="Johnson"] (Lincoln HS) - Johnson provided physical rim protection, finishing with 4 blocks. She also led her team in scoring, finishing with 12 points on 6/8 shooting.
2020 5’10 SF [player_tooltip player_id="20155" first="Meghan" last="Fiso"] (Garfield HS) - Fiso did a great job of getting to her midrange game against Kennewick. When she is aggressive getting to her spots, she can really fill it up. The Michigan commit finished with 19 points and 9 rebounds on the night.
2021 6’0 F Maddeline Gebbers (Kennewick HS) - Struggled overall versus Garfield’s pressure with 7 turnovers and a low shooting percentages, but she got to the line 8 times and converted on every single one. She finished with a game high 20 points and also grabbed 8 boards.
