First Team:

[player_tooltip player_id='676259' first='Julia' last='Benthin'] - Greyhounds 17u 3SSB - Easily a top player from the weekend. Was able to control her pace and force opposing players to speed up and play at the pace she wants. She defended really well, collecting steals and open layups all weekend. She knocked down shots and continuously got to the paint to either get a bucket or find an open teammate. She is a high level guard who continues to be a top player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1239084' first='Lucia' last='Mayorquin'] - Greyhounds 16u 3SSB - Lucia was able to find her spots and smoothly score from all 3 levels with ease. She has an advanced offensive game for her age and even when playing up a year, she still stands out as a top player on the court. Her game has continued to become more well rounded as the year went on as well, smoothly hitting shots at a higher percentage.

[player_tooltip player_id='928114' first='Isa' last='Garcia'] - Greyhounds 17u 3SSB - Isa was one of the best shooters from the weekend, hitting deep shots with ease and at a high percentage. She doesn't need much space to get it off and is able to stay moving to get to open spots. Her defense stood out as well, getting many turnovers that led to easy buckets for her team. She is poised for a big summer.

Brooklyn Schaeffer - Lady Local Hoops 15u - Brooklyn was one of the top 15u players from the weekend, scoring the ball well and showcasing a nice ability to handle the ball. She pushes the pace in transition nicely, staying under control and being able to find open teammates. She has an advanced game for her age and is poised for a big high school career. I'm excited to follow along with her journey.

[player_tooltip player_id='985970' first='Dilynn' last='Johnson'] - Greyhounds 16u 3SSB - Dilynn continues to get better on the court, displaying her deep shot more and hitting shots at a high percentage. She is quick with the ball in her hands, being able to run the court and be a difference maker in the transition game. She is a high level guard who is one to watch on the national stage.

Puneet Kaur Deol - AthElite 17u 3SSB - Puneet was one of my favorite players to watch over the weekend. She barely came out of games and always gave 110% on the court. She scored from all 3 levels, having a nice mid-range shot to compare with her strong finishing ability around the rim. She played great defense too, staying alert and reacting quickly to get stops for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='676260' first='Kawehi' last='Borden'] - Greyhounds 17u 3SSB - One of the top players in the state, regardless of class, was playing very well last weekend for Greyhounds. She is able to stay composed and can attack defenders in a variety of ways to get her buckets. She knows how to finish in the paint and can also step out to play on the perimeter. Her versatility on offense makes her tough to guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1696859' first='Emmerie' last='Walcolm'] - Greyhounds 15u 3SSB - Emmerie was the best player for this 15u Greyhounds team that has a lot of young talent that is going to be some of the best players in the state in the coming years. Walcolm rebounded well all weekend, staying busy on the glass and crashing the paint hard. She scored the ball well too, hitting from deep and finishing around the rim consistently.
