Below is a list of shooters in the Class of 2021. These shooters have shown they have high confidence beyond the arc and the ability to knock down multiple three point baskets in a matchup.
Mimi Beaulieu | Menominee Indian | 5’3 G
Beaulieu is a huge impact player for her squad. She has the ability to score from multiple spots on the floor. She’s super quick, so finding her shooting pocket comes very natural to her. She accounts for many of her team’s steals, and will pull up for a three point shot before attacking the lane. She averaged 22.6 points per game this season and made 86 three point shots.
Sage Krause | Gibraltar | 5’6 G
Krause is a crafty three point shooter. She creates a game for herself. She has impressive handles that make it easy to make space between a defender. Krause averaged 12.9 points per game for Gibraltar and made 74 three point baskets. Krause’s range extended far beyond the three point line and she would shoot the three before attempting a mid range. In a team win over Coleman, Krause made 7 three point shots to finish with 23 total points.
Sara Kasar | Oak Creek | 5’6 G
A sniper from beyond the arc, Kasar is certainly a lights out shooter., Kasar has an impressive feel for the game. She’s super efficient at finding her open teammates which in turn gets her open many times as well. This season the standout guard averaged 12.9 points per matchup. With 68 three point shots made, Kasars confidence is high and will continue to improve. In a win over Racine Case, Kasar hit 6 three point shots to add to a total of 24 points.
Hope Burns | Lourdes Academy | 5’6 G
The guard is a pure shooter for her squad. Burns gets multiple sets run for her offensively due to her confidence beyond the arc. This season the junior guard averaged 13.1 points per game. She made 56 three point shots this season. She has a nice and quick release. In a huge win over Elkhart Lake- Glenbeulah, Burns hit 5 three point shots.
Hannah McDowell | Webster | 5’7 G
The Webster standout averaged 10.6 points per game for her squad this season. She’s had some huge games this season, largely in part to her confidence outside the arc. She’s a great catch and release shooter who gets the ball off at a fast pace. This season she made 49 three point shots. McDowell had a huge game vs Winter where she went off to make 7 three point shots in the win.
Sarah Staplefelt | West Bend East | 5’8 F
The lone forward on the list, Staplefelt developed into a great perimeter shooter this season. Working alongside another talented big gave Staplefelt a chance to excel with her shot. She has a smooth release and the ability to shoot over smaller guards. She sets her feet very well, and with more opportunity could really improve her percentage. This season Stapelfelt averaged 11.8 points per game. She made 44 three point shots this season. In a tough game over Cedarburg the forward hit 5 three point shots.
