Point Guards
Olivia Miles Olivia Miles 5'11" | PG Blair Academy | 2021 State #2 Nation NJ | Blair: Miles is the No. 2 player in the Class of 2021 according to ESPN so it is only right that she leads off the list. Miles is a do it all player. She is extremely versatile and athletic which helps on both ends. Her speed with the ball at 5’11 is effective both in the half court and in transition. Miles can light up the score board or set her teammates up. She is destined to be a star at the next level.
Zanai Jones Zanai Jones 5'5" | PG Hudson Catholic | 2021 State NJ | Hudson Catholic: Jones took a huge step this season for Hudson Catholic. She was one of the state’s top passers along with being able to score from anywhere on the floor. Jones was a player who always had the ball on a string and was dominant on both ends.
Nia Melvin Nia Melvin 5'9" | PG Stuart Day | 2021 State NJ | Stuart Day: Melvin used her speed on both ends effectively. She has very quick hands which allows her to get in the passing lanes on defense. On offense, she made a killing getting into the lane and scoring at will.
Shooting Guards
Rachel Capua Rachel Capua 5'9" | SG Jackson Memorial | 2021 State NJ | Jackson Memorial: Jackson Memorial had a clear dynamic duo with Capua and Kristina Donza Kristina Donza 5'9" | SG Jackson | 2020 State NJ . With Donza moving on, Capua will take over as the No. 1 option off a season where she averaged 19 points per game and hit 62 three’s. She is as dangerous as they come from outside.
Dom Darius Dom Darius 5'9" | CG Blair | 2021 State #25 Nation NJ | Blair: Darius can be described as a complete guard because she can play so many positions. She can bring the ball up and control the offense if needed. With Miles running the point for Blair, we will consider Darius a shooting guard, and she is one of the best in the state. She is a slashing player with the ability to step out and shoot from deep.
Colleen McQuillen Colleen McQuillen 5'10" | SG Cresskill | 2021 State NJ | Cresskill: McQuillen was a force all season long. She scored 737 points and averaged 25.4 per game. She was a sharp shooter from deep knocking down 65 three’s and got into the lane at a high rate. She was unstoppable getting to the basket. By her numbers, teams had difficulty stopping her no matter what she did.
Small Forwards
Destiny Adams Destiny Adams 6'3" | SF Manchester | 2021 State #26 Nation NJ | Manchester Township: Listed as a small forward but plays like a center. The 6’3 small forward is dominant down low. Adams, who has a verbal commitment to North Carolina, can rebound effectively on both ends and has a soft touch around the rim. She has a nice mid-range jump shot which makes her versatile.
Christina Dalce Christina Dalce 6'2" | SF Rutgers Prep | 2021 State NJ | Rutgers Prep: Dalce can play many positions on the floor. At 6’2, she has good size and knows how to use it. Dalce is a rim protector on the defensive end and a dynamic offensive player. Rutgers Prep can run their offense through Dalce no matter where she is on the floor.
Katie Hill Katie Hill 6'0" | SF St. John Vianney | 2021 State NJ | St. John Vianney: There are few players more complete than Hill. She is a threat from deep and in the lane. She was near the top of her team in steals and blocks. St. John Vianney is the top team in the state with many stars and Hill is one of them.
Power Forwards
Caileigh Walsh | Gill St. Bernard’s: Walsh finished the season with 18 double-doubles. She averaged 19 points and 11.7 rebounds per game as a junior. Walsh will have a lot of eyes on her as a senior. The 6’3 forward will continue to grow as a player and get more dominant.
Jayden Watson Jayden Watson 6'1" | SF Morris Catholic | 2021 State NJ | Morris Catholic: Watson has the size and skill to play anywhere for Morris Catholic. She is a 6’2 forward who can dominate on the post and score from all three levels. Watson is a big time play maker for Morris Catholic.
Maddie Gore Maddie Gore 5'11" | PF Newton | 2021 State NJ | Newton: Gore is a 5’11 forward who plays much bigger than her size. She is a strong player who can finish with contact and get to the free throw line. Her scoring numbers are high because of her ability to beat defenders from all over the floor.
Centers
Ariel Jenkins Ariel Jenkins 6'4" | C Stuart Day | 2021 State NJ | Stuart Day: The first center on the list is one of the more dominant players in the state. She was among the state leaders in rebounds with 332 and grabbed 10 or more in 27 of 28 games. Jenkins was part of a lethal front court for Stuart Day.
Kaelonn Wilson Kaelonn Wilson 6'2" | C Piscataway | 2021 State NJ | Piscataway: Wilson controlled the glass on both ends of the floor. Piscataway was successful this season because they had a true rim protector and big time rebounder down low. Wilson is a player that can take over a game and she will turn into a star at the next level.
Laila Fair Laila Fair 6'3" | PF Stuart Day | 2021 State NJ | Stuart Day: Fair was listed as a power forward for Stuart Day this season because of Jenkins but she is a natural center that can play many positions. She had double-digit rebounds in 26 of 28 games this season for Stuart Day.
