Kya Joseph Kya Joseph 5'7" | SG Barnegat | 2022 State NJ | Barnegat
Joseph averaged 18.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore. She finished the season with 13 double-doubles including a 39 point, 11 rebound performance against Donovan Catholic. Joseph is already Barnegat’s No. 1 option and will continue to gain attention from college programs during her years as an upperclassman.
Christy Brennan Christy Brennan 5'5" | PG Hopatcong | 2022 State NJ | Hopatcong
Brennan is one of the stars in the Class of 2022. Her name will start to be a household one over the next two years as colleges begin to take notice. She averaged 20.7 points per game as a sophomore with just one game under 10 points. Her season-high came against Kittatinny where she scored 37 points. Brennan got to the free throw line with great consistency knocking down 189 which was near the top of the state.
Georgia Heine Georgia Heine 5'10" | SG Manasquan | 2022 State NJ | Manasquan
Heine is part of a big three in the Class of 2022 for Manasquan. This program will be successful for many years to come. Heine is a talented scorer who can shoot with unlimited range. She scored in double-figures in seven of the final 10 games of the season. Heine is a versatile guard that can either play on the wing or bring the ball up and run the offense.
Jaylene Ferrer Jaylene Ferrer 5'7" | CG Elmwood Park | 2022 State NJ | Elmwood Park
Ferrer made it look easy scoring from inside. She averaged 17.5 points per game and did most of her work from the post. Ferrer scored from all three levels but excelled using her soft touch around the rim. She knocked 35 three’s and was a complete guard on the perimeter. Ferrer can handle the ball or fill a lane when running the break.
Amaya Evans Amaya Evans 5'5" | PG Neptune | 2022 State NJ | Neptune
Evans’ stock rose after every game during her sophomore season. She was a major contributor for Neptune and she did it on both ends of the floor. Evans has the speed and quickness to be successful on both ends. She is a difficult cover on the outside and can pull up and shoot from anywhere on the floor.
