Kaylee Frey | Winnebago Lutheran | Jr
The 5’11 junior is an impact player in the paint for her team. She makes the offense run smooth and contests shots in the lane on defense. Frey sets hard screens and draws a lot of defense pressure when she has the ball- which ends up helping to get her other teammates open. She’s a crazy efficient rebounder and is super strong with the basketball. She finished the season averaging 7.3 boards per game. Frey is a talented offensive rebounder and is quick to chase down loose balls. She sees many points off her offensive putbacks. The junior averaged 8.4 points pre game for Winnebago Lutheran. In a game against Lomira, Frey scored a season-high 19 points in the win.
Geneva Hewitt | Winnebago Lutheran | Jr
Hewitt had such an impressive junior campaign. She earned Player of the Year in her conference this season, Hewitt is on a clear path to have an even bigger senior season. She sets the tone on offense and is a clear leader on the floor. She pushes the ball in transition and is not afraid to go up against contact. She’s taller than most guards in her conference, so she is really effective running the point guard position. A confident shooter as well, Hewitt can be trusted to knock down key perimeter shots. The guard made 40 three point baskets this year. Hewitt averaged 15.4 points per game for Winnebago Lutheran. In a game against Mayville, Hewitt scored a season-high 28 points.
Haley Rens Haley Rens 5'4" | CG LaConia | 2021 State WI | Laconia | Jr
Rens was the key to helping lead her team to the number one spot in the Flyway Conference this season. The 5’4 guard led her team in both scoring and assists per game. An athletic guard who has a great feel for the game. Rens moves well with the ball and uses her handles to get herself and her teammates open. The junior standout averaged 3.6 assists per game. As a scoring threat, she averaged 12.8 points per game for Laconia. A perimeter shooting specialist as well, Rens made 56 three point baskets this season. In a win against North Fond Du Lac, Rens scored a season-high 23 points while making 5 three point baskets.
Bree Rock | North Fond Du Lac | Soph
The sophomore played a huge role in leading her team to the third spot in conference play this season. She finished second in scoring for North Fond Du Lac with 9.3 points per game. She is a quick guard with tremendous court vision. She is a sniper from beyond the arc and will certainly stop on the perimeter before attacking in the lane. The sophomore made 48 three point baskets this year. In a game against Berlin, Rock scored a season-high 26 points for her team.
Isabelle Coon | Saint Mary’s Springs | Soph
Another sophomore on the list is Coon who is predicted to have an impressive junior campaign after such a great season. She led her team in both scoring and assists. She is a lanky guard, who at 5’9 has a great combination of height and skill that is difficult to defend. She averaged 9.9 points per game for Saint Mary’s Springs. Coon is also confident beyond the arc and has a smooth release to her shot. She creates her own shot but is super successful off the pass. In a game against Mayville, Coon dropped 17 points in the win.
