Potential Breakout Players This Winter

Michalkiewicz had a solid sophomore season and was a reliable perimeter shooter. However, she showed what she was capable of this past summer and shot the leather off the ball. The La Crosse native is a wing with some size and can create her shot off the dribble. She's also an excellent athlete with the physical tools to be an effective perimeter defender with the length to make plays on the ball anywhere on the floor. Mocadlo is a player who has improved in high school and finds ways to be effective on both ends of the floor. She isn't the most physically imposing guard you'll find around the country, but she's athletic and has the motor to be a pest on the defensive end. However, knock on wood, she's past that and will get to play the rest of her high school career. Lewitzke is a skilled guard who can handle the ball under pressure and make plays for herself and her teammates. I also love the mental edge she brings to the floor. She's a player who has a knack for getting into her defensive assignments' heads and frustrating them.
