The latest PGH Ohio Class of 2021 player rankings have been updated and there are several players who have seen their stock rise from the last update done in October. The rankings have expanded to the Top 40 in the 2021 class followed by a very impressive talented Watch List.
Today, we will take a look at 5 more players who saw their stock rise since the last rankings in October.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91125" first="Olivia" last="Sims"], 5-9 Toledo Notre Dame</strong>
Olivia moves up into the Top 40 with an outstanding junior season. She can score from all three levels and is a very strong finisher at the rim. Does a great job from the perimeter, shooting 43% from the three as a junior. Also has a nice midrange shot. Can create space and moves the ball well. <span style="color: #ff0000;">Olivia jumps to the #35 spot in the latest rankings, moving up from the Watch List last season.</span>
<span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Bri O’Connor, 5-8 Hillard Davidson</strong></span>
Excellent handles and a strong floor presence. Can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim, finishing strong with either hand. Great court vision, solid passer. Can run the floor well in transition, catch and score. Can play through contact. Has good range, good catch-and-shoot player from beyond the arc. <span style="color: #ff0000;">Bri lands at #36, vaulting up from the Watch List.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159012" first="Katherine" last="Weakley"], 5-10 Worthington Christian</strong>
Finished the season averaging 16.3 points per game with a variety of scoring moves. Can score from deep range off the dribble or pass with a quick shot. Great handles, able to create for her teammates. Plays north-south with good speed, excellent passer. Good on-ball defender, puts pressure and creates turnovers. <span style="color: #ff0000;">After being unranked in the October update, Katherine debuts at #37. </span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91137" first="Gabby" last="Whitzel"], 5-8 Toledo St. Ursula</strong>
Gabby had a solid season averaging 12.0 points per game. She was also third-team all-district. Outstanding perimeter threat with a quick shot. She moves well without the ball, allowing her to score at the rim and finishes well. On-ball defender with quick active hands. Runs the floor very well. <span style="color: #ff0000;">Gabby moves up from the Watch List to #38. </span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91108" first="Nicole" last="Knippen"], 5-8 Ottoville</strong>
Averaged 15.1 points per game this season and was a first-team all-district player. Nicole can explode to the rim, or stay on the perimeter and fire from the beyond the arc. Great work ethic and leader for her team. Floor leader and good basketball IQ. <span style="color: #ff0000;">Nicole debuts at #39 after moving up from the Watch List back in October. </span>
