Riley made the cross-town move for her sophomore season, leaving Akron SVSM and heading to Akron Hoban. She had a monster of a year – dominating on a nightly basis, while helping her new squad establish themselves as one of the top teams in Northeast Ohio. Lanae is a strong forward with the skill and athleticism to go with it. When she catches the ball around the rim – she scores at a high rate. Riley has also worked to add a consistent jumper – even extending out to 3-point range.
Allison Basye Allison Basye 5'11" | CG Huntington Ross | 2022 State OH , 5’11 Huntington Ross
Basye is one of Ohio’s best kept secrets. Although she may not get the statewide publicity that other kids in her graduating class do – Basye certainly has the attention of the college coaches, already with a number of D1 offers. Allison is a tremendous athlete who can score the ball from all 3 levels. Dynamic in transition and a true jump shooter who elevates to score over defenders, Basye is tough and plays with a relentless motor.
Tai Roberts Tai Roberts 5'6" | PG Andrews Osborne Academy | 2022 State OH , 5’5 Andrews Osborne Academy
Roberts is another kid who flies under the radar. The dynamic scoring guard at Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby plays at a small D4 school against a primarily independent schedule. She is super-quick, with a beautiful pull-up jumper. Although Tai can finish at the rim, she has the total skill package to score all over the floor in a number of ways. Roberts is tough to keep in front – constantly putting pressure on defenses.

One of the many talented kids at GlenOak – Breezie led her squad back to the state Final 4, despite the team losing 5 college-level players from the 2019 tournament run. She is the ultimate lead guard, able to score the ball at a high level, while also getting her teammates involved. She also defends the best perimeter players on a nightly basis.
Mauria Stanley Mauria Stanley 5'11" | C Garfield Heights Trinity | 2022 State OH , 6’0 Garfield Heights Trinity
Trinity has had their fair share of standouts over the years. Mauria Stanley Mauria Stanley 5'11" | C Garfield Heights Trinity | 2022 State OH could be next in line. Although she is not the elite scorer that some of the other players are in her class, Stanley is definitely one of the top athletes. She has double-double potential, while also possessing shot-blocking and turnover-causing ability on the defensive end. If Stanley can develop a go-to move or 2 – the sky is the limit for her.
