The latest PGH Ohio Class of 2021 player rankings have been updated and there are several players who have seen their stock rise from the last update done in October. The rankings have expanded to the Top 40 in the 2021 class followed by a very impressive talented Watch List.
Over the next few days, we will take a look at the players who saw their stock rise since the last rankings.
Here are 5 players who have seen their stock rise from the last rankings back in October.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91102" first="Jordan" last="Hobbs"], 5-11 Springboro</strong>
Already verballed with Rice after she leaves Springboro, Jordan <span style="font-size: 10pt"><strong>(pictured above) </strong></span>is a long athletic big guard who can take over a game. Outstanding perimeter shooter, can open up the game from the arc. Good handles for a taller guard, able to create her offense, and creates a mismatch problem. Quick active hands, good defender. Averaged 13 ppg and was honored as a first-team all-district player. <span style="color: #ff0000">Moves up from the Watch List to #17 in the latest update.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91078" first="Aja" last="Austin"], 6-0 Westerville South</strong>
Aja<strong><span style="font-size: 10pt"> </span></strong>is extremely strong inside and uses the boards well. Great outside shot from beyond the arc. Can get to the line. Creates space inside and draws the double-teams which allows her to find the open person for the better shot. Rebounding machine and has a great outlet pass which leads to several transition opportunities for the guards. Great team player. Averaged 12.1 points and almost eight rebounds per game. <span style="color: #ff0000">Improves to #20 from #22 in the previous rankings.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157677" first="Reagan" last="Bass"], 6-1 Strongsville</strong>
Excellent post player who handles things in the paint. Defensively, she can alter shots around the basket, and is a consistent shot blocker. Can step out for a short-range shot, adding to her attack. Averaged 17.0 points per game. Puts the ball on the floor to score, good physical player. Reagan <span style="color: #ff0000">moves up from not being mentioned in the preseason 2021 rankings and now stands at #22 after a very good year.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91085" first="Kacee" last="Baumhower"], 5-9 Sylvania Northview</strong>
Kacee<span style="font-size: 10pt"><strong> </strong></span>continues to see her stock rise as she heads into what she hopes is a huge senior season. Baumhower averaged 20.2 points per game this season and was honored at both the district and state level. She can score at the rim, and is a good teammate to set up her team for the best shot. Strong rebounder, and loves to push the ball north-south in transition. Working on her perimeter game to make her arsenal even more potent. <span style="color: #ff0000">Moves up from the Watch List to #26.</span>
<strong>McKenzie McConnell, 6-0 Circleville</strong>
Shined all season for the team who finished #1 in the final AP state poll. Earned first-team all-Ohio after putting up 16.6 ppg. Strong physical forward with good moves around the rim, runs the floor well and can finish on the break. Kenzie <span style="color: #ff0000">moves up from the Watch List back in the preseason all the way up to #27.</span>
