Recruiting Round-Up: Lots of Offers and a Few Commitments

While the 2020 season is on hold (and likely over) and AAU is postponed for at least a few months, the recruiting cycle has heated up for some and winding down for others. Here’s a look at all the latest offers and commitments for the last month or so. <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>New Offers</strong></span> Dunbar’s <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88417" first="Elise" last="Ellison-Coons"]</strong> was offered by Pikeville. Butler’s <strong>Kira Girton</strong> picked up a new offer from Southwestern Illinois Junior College. Cooper’s freshman duo <strong>Kay Freihofer and Whitney Lind </strong>were both offered by Northern Kentucky last week. PRP Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="80510" first="Dayja" last="Evans"]</strong> has been a popular recruit for junior colleges lately as she’s been offered by Lincoln Trail, Bryant and Stratton, and Illinois Central College. Fellow PRP Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="145010" first="Mariah" last="Jones"]</strong> has been offered by Paris Junior College, Olive Harvey, Harford Community College, Lewis and Clark, Southwestern Illinois College, Rend Lake College, South Georgia Tech, Southeastern Illinois and Lincoln Trail. Top ranked 2021 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="31846" first="Brooklynn" last="Miles"]</strong> of Franklin County has been offered by Miami. 2022 Point Guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106134" first="Jaya" last="McClure"]</strong> of CAL has been offered by Lipscomb and Arkansas Pine-Bluff. 2021 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="31853" first="Macey" last="Blevins"]</strong> of Wayne County claimed her newest offer from Austin Peay. Ballard Senior <strong>Claire Simmons </strong>has been a JuCo target. She’s been offered by Southwestern Illinois, Wabash Valley, 2021 Dixie Heights Guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="154502" first="Sydney" last="Lockard"] </strong>picked up an offer from Claflin University. Lockard’s teammate <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88452" first="Laci" last="Reinhart"] </strong>was offered by Ohio Christian University. Ballard Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="80504" first="Kiarah" last="Carney"]</strong> was picked up a new offer from South Georgia Tech to go with an earlier offer from Rend Lake. Highlands Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88433" first="Rory" last="O’Hara"]</strong> was offered by Union College. South Laurel Junior <strong>Bree Howard</strong> was also offered by Union College. Russell Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88427" first="Kaeli" last="Ross"]</strong> was offered by University of Rio Grande. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>2020 Commitments:</strong></span> Collins’ <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="80508" first="Olivia" last="Federle"] </strong>is off the board to University of the Cumberlands. Campbell County’s <strong>Jalyn Jackson</strong> committed to Midway University. Gallatin County star <strong>Ellie Oldendick</strong> committed to Mount St. Joseph. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>2021 Commitments:</strong></span> One of the biggest risers in the last rankings update was Ryle’s <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="88421" first="Brie" last="Crittendon"]. </strong>She just announced a commitment to Eastern Kentucky.
