Recruiting Updates

Despite the lockdown, the show must go on. The recruitment of high school basketball players may look and feel different right now, but it’s definitely happening. We’ll take a look at some of the recent recruiting news in Michigan. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147729" first="Taylor" last="Anderson"] (2022, SF, Detroit Renaissance)</strong> Received an offer from North Dakota. Anderson is built in Renaissance mold with her tough defense. She has a ton of potential as a high end prospect. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27986" first="LaChelle" last="Austin"] (2021, SG, Wayne Memorial)</strong> Received an offer from Eastern Michigan University. Austin is primed for a huge senior season. She’s an athletic scorer who has consistently shown D1 talent. <strong>Kennedy Boone-Sautter (2020, G/F, Zeeland East)</strong> Committed to Case Western Reserve. Boone-Sautter had an excellent senior season. She stepped into the limelight and responded in a big way. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="138299" first="Kailee" last="Davis"] (2021, PG, Detroit Renaissance)</strong> Received an offer from Detroit Mercy. Davis is an elite floor general in Michigan. She’s an aggressive full court defender. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="23780" first="DeShelle" last="Farver"] (2020, F, Detroit Edison)</strong> Committed to Wilberforce University. Farver is an athletic and well rounded player. She can influence the game in many ways and isn’t ball dependent to get hers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27983" first="Kaiden" last="Glenn"] (2021,SG, Arbor Prep)</strong> Received an offer from Austin Peay State University. Glenn had a magnificent junior season. She expanded her scoring arsenal and became an excellent leader. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147714" first="Mya" last="Petticord"] (2022, PG, Arbor Prep)</strong> Received an offer from Penn State. Petticord is an elite floor general nationwide. She was ending the season in prime time fashion before the lockdown. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="138383" first="Kayla" last="Rutledge"] (2021, CG, Troy)</strong> Received an offer from Concordia University - Ann Arbor. Rutledge is a spark plug on the basketball court. She’s a versatile energy player with a high upside. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27971" first="Ella" last="Stemmer"] (2021, G/F, Saline)</strong> Received an offer from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. After a huge end to last high school season, Stemmer’s stock should soar. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="138317" first="Madisyn" last="Tillman"] (2021, C, East Kentwood)</strong> Received an offer from Detroit Mercy. Tillman is a force in the paint, constantly making opponents account for her. She’s a difference maker on both ends. <strong>Emma Trombley (2021, PF, Port Huron)</strong> Received an offer from North Dakota. Trombley is a prospect that is on the rise. Wheeler is a gifted defender in the paint. Whitehorn is a prolific wing that should have her choice of school nationwide. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="26677" first="Morasha" last="Wiggins"] (2021, G/F, Kalamazoo Central)</strong> Received an offer from Mississippi State. Wiggins is an aggressive 2 way player. Even coming off an injury, the offers and interest from high majors continues.
