Madison Couey | Riverdale | Jr
Couey finished second in scoring for her team this season. The talented guard averaged 12.2 points per game. She facilitates the offense well and does a great job playing to her own tempo. She handles pressure well and has a lot of skill handling the ball. Couey is confident as an outside shooter as well. In a game against Ithaca, Couey had a season-high 19 points for Riverdale.
Tess Johnson | Riverdale | Jr
Johnson led her team in scoring this season. Johnson scored 16.6 points per game for Riverdale. A first team selection, Johnson impacts the game with her speed and ability to get by her defenders. She has a smooth release to her shot. On the other end of the floor, Johnson is an impressive defender who causes many turnovers per game. In a game against Cuba City, Johnson dropped a season-high 33 points.
Mallory Lindsey | Mineral Point | Soph
The sophomore was a standout player for her team this season. She was third in scoring playing alongside a couple of talented seniors. Lindsey averaged 9 points per game for Mineral Point. The 5’4 guard is super scrappy on both ends of the floor and is fun to watch. She’s a relentless rebounder who grabs steals with her great footwork and vision. Lindsey grabbed 50 steals this season. In a game against Cuba City, Lindsey scored a season-high 20 points.
Bailey Lutes | Cuba City | Jr
An impact player for Cuba City, Lutes did everything for her team this season. She was second in scoring while leading the team in both rebounding and assists. A patient and poise guard who has an excellent shot selection. Lutes is effective off the pass and confident shooting beyond the arc. This season she averaged 10.2 points per game. In a game against Richland Center, Lutes scored a season-high 19 points. A scrappy rebounder, the 5’9 guard used her athleticism to average 5.6 per game. In a game against Dodgeville, Lutes grabbed 11 boards. A facilitator as well, Lutes gets her teammates involved. The University of Illinois-Chicago commit averaged 3.6 assists per matchup.
Brynlee Nelson | Fennimore | Jr
The standout junior led her team in scoring this season. A lanky guard who uses her size to score over defenders. She has a quick release to her shot and keeps the ball high. Her mix of ball handling skills and ability to attack the basket at 5’10 make her hard to defend. This season she averaged 14.3 points per game. Nelson proved her confidence beyond the arc by making 35 three point shots this year. In a game against Darlington, Nelson scored a season-high 39 points for her team. A dynamic defender as well, Nelson averaged 3 steals per game.
