Woodland West Conference: First Team Below is a list of players who were selected to the Woodland West Conference First Team. Leading the conference this season was Pius XI Catholic. The team finished with a 11-1 record. Following close behind was a talented New Berlin Eisenhower squad that finished with a 10-2 conference record. Pewaukee ended the season third in conference with a 9-3 record. [player_tooltip player_id="132409" first="Erin" last="Hedman"] | Senior | New Berlin Eisenhower The 6’3 senior was one of the most versatile post players in the state this season. She plays with a lot of composure and knows her own strengths. She averaged 12.4 points per game and 8.4 rebounds. She is quick on defense and runs the floor really well for her size. A shot blocking specialist, Hedman had over 35 this season. In a win over New Berlin West, Hedman dropped 24 points and 10 rebounds. Hedman is committed to Minnesota. [player_tooltip player_id="132433" first="Jasmine" last="Kondrakiewicz"] | Senior | Pius X Catholic The Pius XI standout was an impact player for her team this season. The 6’1 Green Bay commit averaged 12.5 points and 11 rebounds per game. She is a powerhouse post player with the ability to shut down a game with her defense. This season, Kondrakiewicz increased her shot blocking ability. She grabbed 19 boards in a win over East Troy. She also had 22 points in a win over Wisconsin Lutheran. Kondrakiewicz had 9 offensive rebounds in a win over West Allis Central. Lauren Schill | Senior | Pewaukee A talented athlete who gave full effort every time she stepped on the floor. She’s so fast on both ends. The Marquette soccer commit used the same endurance to play multiple minutes on the basketball court. She led her team in scoring with 14.5 points per game. She has great release to her shot and a fast quick first step. The talented guard scored 27 points in a win against New Berlin Eisenhower. A defensive specialist as well, Schill is incredible at grabbing steals. The senior averaged 2.9 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="132440" first="Jada" last="Spence"] | Senior | Pius Xi Catholic The 6’0 forward led her squad in scoring this season. She’s a talented big that has a rare combination of size and speed. She averaged 14.4 points per game during her senior campaign. She is a strong post player who has guard-like abilities. She is effective off the dribble drive but is an exceptional three- point shooter. She has a scorer mentality and finds her shot with ease. In a win over Pewaukee, Spence scored her season- high 26 points. Spence is averaging 6.5 rebounds per game. The senior is committed to Tennessee State University. Kayce Vaile | Senior | Greendale Adding another senior to the list in Vaile. The Greendale standout led her team in both scoring and rebounding this season. A strong post player that can handle the ball in transition, Vaile averaged 12.5 points per game. Vaile will also shoot the perimeter shot if left open. The UW Oshkosh commit is an offensive rebounding specialist, and really improved her put back scoring this season. The forward averaged 9.5 boards per game. Nikki Dienberg | Junior | New Berlin Eisenhower The lone junior on the list, Dienberg had quite the impressive season. Helping lead her team to second in conference play this season she was second in scoring. A triple threat for New Berlin Eisenhower, Dienburg impacted the game with her scoring rebounding and distributing. Leading her team in assists she averaged 5 per game. She did a great job of finding teammate [player_tooltip player_id="132409" first="Erin" last="Hedman"] in the paint. Dienberg is quick with the ball and has a great mid range shot as well as a three pointer. She averaged 10.9 points per game.
