We are down to the final four with the Division 5 state semi-finals starting this morning. Once again, I will be pointing out one player, from each team, that will be key to their team's chances of taking home the gold ball on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='751245' first='Avery' last='Glenz']-Eleva-Strum

#1 Eleva-Strum, 29-0 on the season, has been dominant in this season's tournament winning by an average of 31.8 points per game. The player that stands out for me, pivotal to the Cardinals success, is 5-8 junior [player_tooltip player_id='751245' first='Avery' last='Glenz']. Averaging 18 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.9 apg, 2.2 bpg, she shoots 78.5% from the free-throw line as Eleva-Strum looks like the odds on favorite to bring home the gold ball on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='874589' first='Natalie' last='Fietz']-Fall River

Fall River, while only 17-11 on the season, is probably the hottest team in D5 next to their opponent Eleva-Strum. Their 58-48 Sectional final win, over Lourdes, avenged a February 21st loss to the Knights, Fall River's only loss in the last nine games. The Pirates are led by 5-11 senior [player_tooltip player_id='874589' first='Natalie' last='Fietz'] who is averaging 19.8 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 1.7 apg, and 2.8 spg. She is my key player to watch today.

[player_tooltip player_id='876098' first='Jaedyn' last='Zdroik']-Pacelli

Zdroik, a 5-10 junior, stands out to me as the 23-4 Cardinals key player in today's game against Barneveld. Averaging 17.6 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 6.9 apg, 5.3 spg, and 1.1 bpg, she has one of the more complete stat lines and another solid game, by her, will be pivotal for Pacelli's chances to make it to tomorrow's title game.

[player_tooltip player_id='533073' first='Izabel' last='Durst']-Barneveld

The 22-7 Golden Eagles, back on January 19th, had just lost their fourth game in a row and looked like a long shot to make it to the Resch Center. Seven weeks later, Barneveld has defied the odds and comes into today's game as the #3 seed beating their tournament opponents by an average of 24 points per game. Paramount to their success is 5-7 senior [player_tooltip player_id='533073' first='Izabel' last='Durst'] who is averaging 20.7 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.2 apg, and 2.7 spg. She shoots 53.6% from the floor and 84.3% from the free-throw line for a Golden Eagle team on a 14 game winning streak.
