2023: Pee Dee Players to Monitor

The Pee Dee Area of the Palmetto State has some promising talent in the years to come. Lets take a look at some 2023 Players that college programs might want to follow down the road right here. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171782" first="A’Zaria" last="Knox"] - Hartsville HS (pictured on the front) </strong> Knox logged a lot of minutes this season in the backcourt for Lady Red Foxes and Head Coach Justin Johnson. Knox averaged 6 ppg, 3.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.8 steals this season for the Lady Red Foxes (10-16). Knox plays the game with a good basketball IQ and great natural instincts. [caption id="attachment_173512" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="171790" first="Kenzie" last="Feagin"][/caption]&nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171790" first="Kenzie" last="Feagin"] - Florence Christian </strong> Feagin helped Florence Christian make it to the SCISA Class 3A State Semifinals this season in Sumter. Feagin averaged 13.8 ppg and 4.2 rebounds this year.  Feagin has a quick shot release and a good feel for the game. Feagin helped the Lady Eagles defeat Hammond in the SCISA State Quarterfinals 53-52 this past Feburuary. Feagin scored 14 points in the victory. Lowe a fixture since the 8th grade on the Lady Bulldogs roster had a solid freshman season. Lowe averaged 17.8 ppg this past season for the Bulldogs (16-9). The Lady Bulldogs will move down a classification next season and play in Class 3A-Region 6 with the likes of Camden HS, Crestwood HS and Manning HS. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="172179" first="Brycelyn" last="Berry"] - Latta HS </strong> Berry is the future in the post for the Lady Vikings. Berry 5’10 plays with her back to the basket and shows to have good hands in the post. Johnson a catch-shoot player can really connect from downtown. Johnson averaged 5.1 ppg last season. Johnson should see production go up with the graduation of All-State Player and Georgia Tech Signee [player_tooltip player_id="124043" first="Loyal" last="McQueen"] graduating. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="173497" first="Mareesa" last="Garrett"] - Hartsville HS </strong> Garrett is a RAW talent for the Lady Red Foxes. Garrett 5’10 has a good motor and a bright future. Garrett played behind Lauren Thomas (Spartanburg Methodist Signee) this year in the paint.
