Bostick has not only established herself as one of the Palmetto State's premier names among the 2029 class but as one of the Palmetto State's premier names regardless of class. She led South Florence to a stellar 25-4 campaign which saw the Bruins advance to the Lower State finals of the 4A tournament. In the 28 games that Bostick played last season, she averaged a double-double of 22.3 points and 10.1 rebounds plus three steals. A two-sport athlete who also excels as a volleyball player, Bostick is set to embark on her 2026 grassroots season with AEBL Girlz which will play on the Nike EYBL Circuit. Her Bruins were originally set to move up to 5A but will remain in 4A.

A young core is emerging at Ridge View that will ensure the Blazers remain in the contenders' chat for the next several seasons. Carr leads the frontcourt efforts for Ridge View and played in all 23 games this past season as a Blazer. Not only was Carr the team's leading scorer at 10.8 points per game, she also was Ridge View's leading rebounder, hauling in 6.7 per contest. Carr also led Ridge View in blocks with 1.5 per matchup and also collected one steal per 32 minutes. She is turning her attention to the upcoming travel slate with [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'] which will commence on Mar. 28 at the Ice Breaker invite in North Augusta.

This past season saw the continuation of Military Magnet's impressive dynasty. The Eagles won its fifth championship in six years and its first at Colonial Life Arena after a dominant performance against Great Falls. Brown-King is one of the many young names that are playing like seasoned veterans under coach Nathaniel Taylor's system. She competed in 28 of Military Magnet's 30 games in 2025-26 and averaged 7.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. In the state game against the Red Devils, Brown-King tallied 11 points and brought down seven rebounds. A two-sport athlete who also plays volleyball, Brown-King was one of four freshmen for the 2025-26 Eagles.

Hubbard was also among the quartet of freshmen that were part of the roster for 5A Division 2 Socastee. Her play would help Socastee once again qualify for the 5A Division 2 tournament. The Braves played in 26 games in 2025-26 and Hubbard would wear Socastee's uniform on 24 of those occasions. One of the Braves' frontcourt stalwarts, she averaged 6.7 points, six rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. Hubbard was third on the team in scoring and second among Braves players in rebounds. She stands at 5-foot-10 and can effectively play at the four between her rebounding and her ability to put points on the board in close proximity to the rim. Understanding that playing in the frontcourt means drawing contact is another positive element to her game.

The schedule for 1A Blackville-Hilda was certainly busier than it was two seasons ago – and the Hawks took full advantage of it. Brown helped Blackville-Hilda improve its win total from five to 12 – plus returning to the 1A state tournament. In the 17 games that Brown played, she was third on the team in both scoring (six points per game) and rebounding (5.6 boards per contest). Brown found her footing as the lone freshman on a Blackville-Hilda team that was mostly comprised of seniors and juniors. In addition to playing basketball, Brown also competes in track and field at Blackville-Hilda.

The last few seasons have seen the headlines around 2A Saluda mostly center around its backcourt play. Wilder displayed in her freshman season with the Tigers that teams have to game plan to keep Saluda from making things happen in the interior as well. Wilder is a multi-sport athlete who also plays volleyball as an outside hitter in addition to her basketball achievements. Coach Jeannette Wilder's Saluda assembling was once again one of the teams to beat among the 2A ranks as the freshman big helped the Tigers to a 16-4 record, a perfect 7-0 mark in region and a berth in the state tournament.
