Nay Nay Clark (2021) | Oakcrest
There is a list of dominant scorers all over the state and that list could not leave off Clark. So of course she is a top guard in the county. Clark got her season off to a hot start by scoring 40 points in the season opener against Camden. She finished with 638 total points for an average of 25.4 points per game. It goes without saying that she can score whenever and wherever she wants.
Haleigh Schafer (2021) | Absegami
Schafer has a chance to be one of the top players in the state next season. She already got a head start as a junior. Schafer scored 18.1 points per game and knocked down 45 three’s. Schafer had a knack at getting in the lane. She was one of the top free throw shooters with 123 makes on the year. She is a duel-threat that can do it all on offense.
Sanai Garrison Macon (2022) | Atlantic City
Macon scored 10 points per game as a sophomore. She was a scorer at all three levels. Macon showed off a smooth jump shot and shifty ball handling that allowed her to get into the lane. Atlantic City is set up well with some talent in the sophomore class.
Ava Divello (2023) | Hammonton
Divello was a consistent player for Hammonton this season. She took a small backseat during her freshman season but has a high ceiling and will take a huge step next season. Divello proved that she could score the ball when called upon. This will be as soon as the opener in 2020. Divello will be a starting force for Hammonton for years to come.
Naysha Suarez-Rivera (2022) | Atlantic City
Suarez is a duel-threat guard with great assets on both ends. She is not a big jump shooter but this does not mean she can’t score. Rivera does great work down low and scores easily off rebounds. She is a dominant defender that can block shots and get in the passing lane using her speed and anticipation.
