Leah Benichou (2021) Wildwood
Benichou did most of her work in her junior year as a shooter. Wildwood is full of players that can light it up from deep and it begins with Benichou. She knocked down 46 three’s which led the team and was near the top of the county.
Kate Herlihy (2021) | Middle Township
Herlihy is one of the top players in the county. Her game is very balanced. She excels from deep but can also get in the lane and score. She knocked down 36 three’s and averaged 14.2 points per game as a junior. Her game is extremely smooth and that will continue to grow as a senior.
Lindsay Holden (2022) | Lower Cape May
Holden did not do much scoring unless it was from deep but this does not down play her ability. She led the county with 48 three’s. She has range from anywhere and defenders must have a hand up as soon as she gets off the bus. Holden will continue to grow her game and that is scary given her natural ability to light it up from deep.
Imene Fathi (2022) | Wildwood
Fathi emerged as a star during her sophomore year. She showed the ability to contribute on both ends with great efficiency. She knocked down 40 three’s and was also a capable rebounder. Fathi was the leader of this offense because she set her teammates up in great position to score.
Avery Jackson (2023) | Ocean City
Jackson built a reputation for herself early on as a shooting threat. She was found often on the perimeter or in the corner spotting up for a shot. She knows how to run off screens well and move without the ball. That is the mark of a true threat from deep.
Jenna Hans (2021) | Wildwood
Hans is the final Wildwood member on this list. This goes to show how strong of a team they were from deep. Hans might have been their best overall player. She knocked down 34 three’s and had a certain knack at getting to the free throw line.
