Nevaeh Brownlee, Africentric Early College
This young point guard has a beautiful shooting form, with high arc, and nothing but net! She can drain the 3’s, as well as mid-range jumpers. Very explosive going to the basket, and knows when to dish off to her teammates. Wonderful court vision, pushes the ball on transition, great handles. Defensively, she’s also a beast! Her long frame and athleticism creates big time issues for opponents. She loves playing up-tempo basketball. Look to see Nevaeh continue to wow fans!
Sydnie Smith, 5’8, Bexley
Sydnie’s passion for any any sport she plays (volleyball, track) is a coaches dream. Never stops working, ever! Physically very strong down low, can jump, loves to snag rebounds, and positions her body well to score. Can shoot the 10-12 ft shots comfortably, and muscles her way into the lane for layups. Plays physical defense, and does all the little things right, including always boxing out. She’s a natural leader, with much potential!
Sophia Kline Sophia Kline 6'1" | PF Berne Union | 2023 State OH , 5’11 Berne Union
Sophia had an outstanding freshman year performance, averaging 9 ppg. and earned 2nd Team All Central District. Kline was one of 3 freshman who started for a highly talented Berne Union team. She anticipates very well defensively, her hands are always active, blocking and altering shots against her opponents. She’s a force in the paint, automatic with her shots, and runs the floor well on transition. Exciting player to watch, the sky is the limit!
Baylee Mirgon, 5’11 Berne Union
Another outstanding talented freshman from Berne Union, Baylee creates issues for opponents with her ability to block shots, as well as denying the ball from being passed. Her steals quickly lead to 2 points. Active player who sees the open spots on the court, where to locate offensively. Rebounds the ball and transitions very well. Scores well around the basket, and can comfortably hit mid-range shots. Remember her name- athletic young lady with lots of skills!
Abbi Evans, 5’3 Berne Union
Abbi is a strong 3-point shooting specialist who plays so well with her teammates. If she’s open for a slight moment anywhere behind the arc, its an automatic 3! Very quick point guard who has nice handles, aggressive defensively, and has great vision. Loves to play a fast pace game. Fun to watch her on full court press- a nightmare for opposing teams.
