The city of Ann Arbor has some special basketball talent in recent years. There have been players at many different levels at all the spots on the floor. It’s time to look at, and rank, the athletes in this town. We will start with the top 6 in the class of 2021. The schools we included in the Ann Arbor City Rankings are the following: Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard, Ann Arbor Greenhills, Ann Arbor Huron, Ann Arbor Pioneer, and Ann Arbor Skyline.

SIX

Ava Victory (2021, PF, Ann Arbor Skyline)
With the loss of the Faulkner sisters, Skyline will depend a lot on Victory next season. She’s active in the paint and is willing to battle for a rebound or bucket.

FIVE

Jackie Brines (2021, G/F, Ann Arbor Pioneer)
Brines is a talented wing for Ann Arbor Pioneer. She moves well without the ball, looking for a feed from distributors like DeWolf and Hicks.

FOUR

Onix Acosta (2021, SF, Ann Arbor Huron)
There will be a ton of minutes opening up for the River Rats and Acosta is a player that could reap the rewards. She could move up the list by this time next year.

THREE

Felicia Stewart (2021, SG, Ann Arbor Pioneer)
Stewart is a consistent contributor on a deep Pioneer team. They have a ton of young perimeter talent down the road from the Crisler Center, but Stewart has carved her niche in the lineup.

TWO

Rileigh Garbarz (2021, PF, Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard)
Garbarz is another big star from a small school in Ann Arbor. She’s another high level player that is ranked by Prep Girls Hoops Michigan. She’s a solid rebounder that can score in the paint. Garbarz will be a consistent double-double threat throughout the season next year.

ONE

[player_tooltip player_id="138352" first="Sabine" last="Boutros"] (2021, SG, Ann Arbor Greenhills)
