Recruiting Roundup: April notes

"Recruiting Roundup" will be released weekly to keep you informed on what’s going on for girls basketball in Arizona. Since this is the first article on this topic, it will cover the entire month of April. I hope everyone is staying safe and following the "stay at home" and "social distancing" guidelines issued by the state and federal government in regards to the current COVID 19 Pandemic.  Basketball will return stronger than ever and Prep Girls Hoops will be ready when that time arrives. . <strong>Recruiting Calendar</strong> As we are all aware, the April viewing period was cancelled due to the pandemic.  The July viewing period is touch and go right now as everyone is looking for guidance from the Federal Government as well as from AAU.  Local tournaments with minimal spectators may be the short term answer in July.  We will keep you posted on a weekly basis as everyone is excited to get back to playing ball. Prep Girls Hoops, ArizonaGirls Report and MTCPreps will be conducting evaluation workouts as soon as Arizona enters Phase I (gyms reopen).  We will definitely be practicing social distancing, extremely small groups (no contact) and sanitizing everything.  We will also travel to Southern and Northern Arizona to perform evaluations. <em>We are currently in a "NCAA Recruiting Shutdown" from May 4th - 10th.  No calls, No texts, No emails, No visits, No mails and No camps.
