<span style="font-weight: 400">As players and teams hope to get back on the court this summer, several players have caught our eye in recent months in the 2023 class that are poised for a big sophomore season in 2020-21. Among them are all-state selections [player_tooltip player_id="156308" first="Trinity" last="Lutters"] and [player_tooltip player_id="156312" first="Keeli" last="Knobbe"], among others.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="160921" first="Cheyenne" last="Cooper"], 5’7, G, 2021, Belle Plaine </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A multiple sport athlete who can score well after the catch. She is a bouncy player and has a good 3-point shot and a nice rhythm to her game. She moves well off the ball and has a high release point and has the speed and agility to defend the opposing team’s best players. A quick release scoring guard who is constantly in motion and can get to the free-throw line.</span>
<b>Kaitlin Crossland, 5’7, G, 2021, Colgan </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">Another impressive athlete who shows leadership and understanding in multiple sports. A nice junior leader who can set a tone defensively but is also a quick player who looks to pass to her teammates and score when she has an open look. Crossland has in-game speed and makes solid decisions with the ball in her hands. An underrated player in her class. </span>
<b>Megan Deters, 5’4, G, 2021, Mission Valley</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">Deters is a smart player with the ball who has great speed and the ability to find open paths and get to the basket. She can handle the ball well and is a smart passer and a strong defensive presence on the perimeter. She is also a terrific rebounder for her size who fights hard and looks to make plays after she rebounds. Deters averaged 11 points, 2.3 assists, 5.4 rebounds and three steals. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="123515" first="Grace" last="Eck"], 5’4, G, 2021, Ellis </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A seasoned guard for Ellis who can score, rebound and make a terrific splash as a defender. She can explode through transition and is good at finding pen paths to the basket. Eck can make plays as a scoring guard and point guard and chose an unselfish nature and a self motivation to make plays. She averaged 15 points, 1.6 assists, 4.8 rebounds in 2.8 steals per game her junior year.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="123505" first="Lili" last="Shubert"], 5’8, G, 2021, WaKeeney</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400">A 2A first team All-State performer and all-around scorer who can impact a game on several levels. Shubert is a good-sized guard who plays fast and loose. She gets out in transition and can score through contact around the glass but can also step back and knock down a 3-pointer Shubbert averaged 18 points (team high), 2.5 assists, 6.2 rebounds (team high) and 1.5 steals per game. Shubert is a solid prospect who has a high ceiling as a scorer and playmaker.</span>
