Hailey Cabanas (2022) | Wayne Valley
Wayne Valley is losing Brianna Neary next season so that means Cabanas will have to pick up some extra slack. She showed this season that she is capable of running an offense and leading a team. Cabanas led the team with 30 makes from beyond the arc. She was a threat on both ends of the floor who was capable of making a play at any time.
Halle Aschenbach (2022) | West Essex
Aschenbach was the leader for West Essex this season. She took over that role at a young age which is good news for the program given she has two more years. Aschenbach knocked down 48 three’s and showed toughness on both ends. She is a guard that can move well without the ball and run off screens effectively.
Sam Graf (2021) | Wayne Hills
When Wayne Hills needed a big play, they turned to Graf. She led the team in scoring and did it in many ways. She knocked down 21 three’s and could get to the free throw line for some easy ones. She had a knack of creating contact and finishing with contact. Graf will come back for her senior season and look to build off a strong junior campaign.
Rory McCormick (2021) | West Milford
McCormick did most of her work from deep. She led West Milford with 42 made three’s. She is the type of effort player that is always moving. McCormick knew how to move without the ball well on the offensive end to find an open spot in the defense.
Joniah Coleman (2021) | Passaic
Coleman is a scorer at all three levels. She was near the top of Passaic in both free throws made and three’s made. She is a talented shooter and that was on display throughout the season. Coleman can be successful with or without the ball. She runs the floor well and is quick with the ball in the open court.
Briana Andreoli (2022) | Hawthorne
Andreoli scored 10.5 points per game during her sophomore season. That number will continue to rise as an upperclassman. Andreoli is a pure scorer who will grow her game over the next two years.
