Tara Johnson Tara Johnson 5'9" | SG University | 2021 State NJ (2021) | University
Johnson can be listed as any of the five positions on the floor. She has the ability to guard all five defenders on one end and score on the perimeter or in the post on the other. Johnson led University to 24 wins with 16 points per game and was a strong rebounder on both ends.
Triniti Haskins Triniti Haskins 5'10" | SG East Orange | 2022 State NJ (2021) | East Orange
What a year it was for East Orange led by Haskins. The 21 win team had a point guard score 462 points and rank second on the team in rebounds, assists, and steals. Haskin has a certain versatility that makes her extremely valuable. East Orange will be a threat once again next season with their star guard back.
Destiny Battle (2021) | East Orange
Haskins and Battle made up one of the best backcourts in the county. Battle was second on the team in scoring but led in assists with over four per game and steals with 5.2 per game. She was a consistent duel-threat that could dominate on both ends.
Aaliyah Amos (2021) | Arts
Amos was the leader for Arts this season. She was a multi-dimensional point guard that could get it done in many ways. Amos averaged over four rebounds and assists per game while leading the team in scoring. Amos had a knack at drawing contact and getting to the free throw line.
Ava Intile (2021) | Livingston
Intile was a scoring machine for Livingston this season. The team won 18 games behind their dynamic guard. She is an agile ball handler and knows how to run the break well. Livingston will have Intile back for another season and will look to build upon 2019-2020.
April Lopez (2021) | Belleville
Lopez is Belleville’s leading scorer and will return for one more year. She is a scorer at all three levels. Lopez has the ability to step out and shoot from deep. She can also score in the lane over larger defenders. Lopez’s key attribute is her speed which she shows off with or without the ball.
