Coach: Anthony Young
Below is a preview of the current roster for Playground Elite U16. Each prospect is in the Class of 2022 and competes in Wisconsin. The guard heavy team makes up for their loss of height in the scrappy defense and quick paced offensive tone they play with. The 10th grade squad will compete in 10 tournaments in the midwest this summer including the Nike- Tournament of Champions in early July.
Madeline Kachelski | 5’10 G | Wauwatosa East

Sarah Hopper | 5’7 G | Shorewood
After being an impact player at Shorewood the last two seasons of her high school career Hopper has developed her game in so many ways. She’s added more versatility to her shot selection and will hit a jumper from anywhere on the court. She’s strong when attacking the rim against contact as well.

She’s an in your face defender with fast hands to grab boards. If open from the perimeter, Jamerson isn’t afraid to knock it down. A guard position for her Playground Elite squad, Jamerson is confident and strong posting up in the lane.

One of two post players on the roster this season is Young. She’s an athletic forward who can get up and down the floor well. She knows how to capitalize on her size and height. She impacts the game with her ability to get her teammates open and seal for her shot in the paint. A fierce rebounder as well, Young is strong at grabbing offensive rebounds and finishing strong.

Wolff does a great job handling pressure on offense and plays with a scorers mentality. She creates a game for herself and is quick with her attack to the hoop. She plays with a lot of precision and will certainly set the tone offensively this season. She’s confident far beyond the arc as well.

She is patient finding her shot but is extremely effective drawing contact in the lane. If left open Wright will shoot the three point shot and will hopefully add more of that to her game this summer.

A smooth athlete who understands her role on the court. She can easily take over a game with her ability to attack the basket or pull up mid range. She does all the little things right on offense and will see a lot of minutes for her ability to keep the game at a good pace. She has great on-court vision and eye for her bigs in the lane.
