Class of 2021: Top 3 Point Shooters

The class of 2021 in South Carolina has some really special players in it. The following players are the ones who can flat out shoot the ball from 3 point land. Here are the ones you need to make sure you know: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171750" first="Abbie" last="Bishop"]: </strong>The 5’6 2021 shooting guard from Oakbrook Prep, has already committed to play at North Greenville. Knocking down almost 100 3’s on this last season and shooting well over 30% from deep, she knows how to shoot it. She has been an all-state selection, and all-region player. Along with knocking down triples she is a good passer and can run the point if need be. She is feisty on defense, she had a double-double this last season with points and steals. She can play defense without fouling I think due to being an excellent soccer player as well. She plays AAU for the SC 76ers organization. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171747" first="Moya" last="McDuffie"]: </strong>The 5’5 guard from Latta high school is an All-State, and 1K point scorer already. She is very consistent from downtown, shooting well over 50% on this last season. 3 different games last season she knocked down 100% of her attempts, and 4 games knocked down at least 70% of her attempts. On top of being a knock down shooter, she is a good rebounder for her size and position. She grabbed 8+ rebounds in 3 different games last season, she is not afraid to crash the boards. And on defense she will guard bigger guards, pick them up baseline to baseline, she is a hard worker on the defensive end. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175333" first="Reilly" last="Ward"]: </strong>The 5’5 guard from Carolina Forest high school, has the green light from deep. She knocked down more than 60 3’s this last season, and already has college range. Along with 3 point shooting, she has a high IQ and sees the floor well. She flirted with a triple-double (points, rebounds, and assists) this last season, and in 8 different games this last season she had 3+ assists. <strong>Rosalina Macon: </strong>The 5’7 shooting guard from Richland Northeast high school, is a lefty with good size and abilities. She has a high and quick release, she has no problem knocking down a tough shot with a hand in her face. She really caught fire at the end of last season, in the last 10 games she hit 3 or more from deep. On top of being good from downtown, she gets into the paint well and finishes (even with contact), and has a 1 dribble pull-up going to the right that is pretty efficient. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124069" first="Aylesha" last="Wade"]: </strong>The 5’8 guard from Clover high school is one of the top players in the state, and already committed to UNC Charlotte. She can score it on all levels, including a consistent threat from deep. She leaves her fingerprints over every game she is apart of. From deep though she knocked down right under 60, and right under 40% on the season. On top of that she gets into the paint and finishes, she has a high IQ and makes plays for her teammates, she grabs rebounds, and is going to harass whoever she is guarding on defense. <strong>Jordan Durant: </strong>The 5’7 shooting guard from Comenius high school is another player who leaves her fingerprints over every game she is apart of. This season she knocked down over 50 3’s, at over 40%. She hit 4 3’s in 5 different games this season, and scored 20+ points in 8 different games this season. To go along with her shooting abilities she tallied 2 triple-doubles, and 6 double-doubles. She plays with a high motor, and does whatever her team needs her to do. She will make a great pickup for someone at the next level. <strong>Taylor Southall: </strong> The 5’7 shooting guard from York Prep high school, knocked down over 50 3’s this last season. She hit 5 3’s in 4 different games this season, and scored in double digits every game this season but 4. To go along with her shooting, she is a good rebounder grabbing almost 4 per game from a guard position. &nbsp;
