A team must have great chemistry amongst one another, and be able to work together well on and off the court. There are usually two players that strive together strongly and help their team to multiple victories. This term as we all know is called “dynamic duos”.
Listed below are a group of dynamic duos of the Bay Area that stand out in the crowd:
Rose Morse(2021, 5”8’, PG & SG, #30) & Isabela De La Cruz(2022, 5”4’, PG, #33) of Las Lomas High School (Walnut Creek, CA)
Rose Morsem and Isabela De La Cruz, the partnership that these two players have on the court are very prominent. This junior and sophomore dynamic duo are very aggressive. This is very impressive, free throws can be the make it or break it for a team’s win in the remaining seconds of a close game. Rose can drive to the basket with ease and has a great touch around the basket. Isabela is a very quick player. She averages 16.4 PPG, with a total of 278 points to date for the 2019-2020 season. Isabela has made 76 free throws, with a 62% FT%, which is equally as impressive as Rose’s 74%. This just goes to show that practicing free throws is a must to be a successful player. Just like Rose, Isabela is not afraid to take on a defender. She is also a talented defender as well. Isabela can read passes like a book, she has a very good awareness of where the ball is. Overall, this dynamic duo is very prevalent when on the court together, and should not be underestimated.

You can tell that Erica trusts her teammates, and she expresses this on the court. Adams is keen, quick, and able to score with defenders on her. Her physicality when taking the ball to the rack is tremendous. Adam’s recently committed to the University of Pacific, and I can’t wait to watch her dominate in her college career. On to the other dominant player at California High, Audrey Moulton. I have previously mentioned Moulton and is a great leader. As mentioned before she averages 17 PPG, 10.2 RPG, 5.0 APG, and 5.3 SPG.
