Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ (2023) | Paul VI
Hidalgo is already one of the top players in the state. As a freshman, she burst onto the scene as a nationally ranked prospect in the class. She averaged over five steals per game and 17 points. Hidalgo will continue to improve on the court and turn into the Division I prospect that she is.
Alexa Therien Alexa Therien 6'1" | SF Cherokee | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Cherokee
Cherokee led the conference with 30 wins last season. A big reason why was the play of their star center. Therien dominated the inside during games. She could score with her back to the basket and power through contact to get to the free throw line. Therien will be one of the top players in New Jersey next season.
Olivia Johnstone (2021) | Lenape
Johnstone was one of the top shooters in the conference last season. She is a dynamic scorer at all three levels. Johnstone will return as Lenape’s leading scorer for next season. She is a threat on both ends that can lead Lenape to the level of success they saw this season.
Jessica Lee (2021) | Washington Township
Washington Township is losing some key players in Emily Johns and Julia Marino. This leaves Lee as their leading returning scorer. She showed an ability to shoot from deep and take over a game from beyond the arc. Lee can quickly become one of the top prospects in the conference. That is her ceiling.
Giana Rullo (2021) | Eastern
Kelli McGroarty led Eastern in scoring last season. She will be graduating leaving Rullo as the top returner. Eastern won 16 games last season and Rullo can lead them to a higher number. She led the team in three-point shooting and finished second in steals. She is a duel-threat player that can make plays at will.
