Destiny Hines (2022) | Newark Central
Hines is one of the sensational sophomores in the SEC. Along with Shaquinnah Smith, Hines is going to lead Newark Central to another strong campaign in 2020-2021. She is the team’s leading scorer that will be returning next season. Hines showed an ability to run the offense in the half court and handle the ball in the open floor.
Liana Minichini (2023) | Nutley
Minichini did not have to take on much of a scoring role because of Abigail Scheidel, but she showed an incredible ability to shoot from deep. She knocked down 43 three’s which was second on the team. With Scheidel gone, Minichini will jump into an extended role right away as a sophomore.
