Makenzie Turley, Murray (2021) – The second leading scorer for the first region All A champs this past season, Turley inherits an even bigger role going into her Senior campaign. A good shooter from deep, Turley actually made more 3s than 2s last season and her scoring numbers should swell if she can become more confident putting the ball on the floor.
Rose Smith, Lyon County (2022) – An excellent slasher and low post scorer, Smith can get to the rim and finish or can post up and get a bucket. As a Sophomore, Rose led Lyon County in scoring and should have a chance to make some noise at the All A state tournament next year.
Cathryn Brown, Lyon County (2023) – Only a freshman last season, Brown is the Robin to Rose’s Batman. A solid second scoring option, Cathryn is a good shooter now and should be a really good shooter in the near future if she continues working on her game. Expect her to score 2000+ points in her career if she stays healthy.
Jacey Jaggers Jacey Jaggers 5'7" | SG Caldwell County | 2021 State KY , Caldwell County (2021) – A good balance of shooter and slasher, Jaggers has a well rounded game and the potential to be first team all region if her game keeps improving over the summer and into next year. She’s also a really good free throw shooter and could up her numbers by getting to the line more.
Taylor Guess, Crittenden County (2023) – One of the best small school players in the state in the 2023 class, Guess is already putting up big numbers and could easily fit in as a starter at any big school in the state. One of the best players in Kentucky at getting to the free throw line, she made nearly 6 free throws per game while shooting 78% from the charity stripe.
Lauren Wring, Livingston Central (2021) – Another small school player who could fit in at any western Kentucky school, Wring is the coach’s daughter and has to do everything in her power to get her team a win. Lauren led her team in nearly every statistical category as a Junior and could be a scholarship level player if she can add some stretch to her game and raise her efficiency.
