Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top point/combo guards who were in action on the final day of the Premiere Hoops Summer Bash in St. Charles, MO.
Ja’Mise Bailey 5’8" Midwest United: The 2021 guard from Webster Groves was one of the most impressive defensive players that we saw during the final day. Her on-ball defense was relentless as she moved her feet and kept constant pressure on opposing ball handlers. Really set the tone. She can also penetrate well into the lane and hit a high-arching 3-pointer.
Clare Breden 5’7" BlueStar (Wilkenson): Solid pass-first 2021 point guard from Jerseyville (IL) with good court vision and passing ability. She pushes the ball well with pace and can also get into the lane. She also has a very effective pull up jumper in the middle area.
