<p>Prep Girls Hoops released its newly updated Class of 2028 rankings this week. Here is a look at some of the top stock risers among guards and wings in the newly updated rankings.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='897772' first='Loganne' last='Love'] (Principia): After starting as a freshman, the 5'5" point guard raised her level of play as a sophomore to help lead the Panthers to the Class 3 state championship. She has excellent speed and quickness to impact play at both ends of the court. She is a tremendous rebounder for her size as she grabs six boards a game. As a sophomore, she averaged 13.1 points, 4.7 assists and 3.1 steals while making 37 3-pointers. She had 19 points, four rebounds and six assists in the Panthers' victory over St. Vincent in the state championship game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='886539' first='Samaiya' last='Johnson'] (Raymore-Peculiar): A 5'7" guard who is one of the more talented bucket-getters in the class. She is a three-level scoring threat who can really create her own offense off the dribble. She can drop off defenders with a variety of escape moves to either get into the lane or score on the pull up jumper. As a sophomore, she averaged 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, three rebounds and three steals while making 37 3-pointers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1047485' first='Ryleigh' last='Davis'] (Thayer): A 5'7" guard who is one of the top young prospects in the SWMO area. She excels on the court in all facets of the game. She is a primary scorer, but she is also a good playmaker to can facilitate offense for others. She is a three-level scorer who can dial it up from long distance with great range. As a sophomore, she averaged 25.3 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals a game while making an impressive 87 3-pointers on 42 percent shooting from beyond the arc.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1113094' first='Rozlyn' last='McDevitt'] (St Joe Lafayette): A 5'5" point guard who is one of the top young prospects in the NWMO area. She is the consummate floor leader who can run the offense and make sure everyone eats while also being able to get her own buckets. She is also a good on-ball defender with her quickness and tenacity. She helped lead a young Irish team to 24 victories this season. She will be one of top returning players for what should be one of the top Class 4 teams in the state next season.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1039530' first='Eva' last='Danielson'] (Kirksville): A talented young guard who led Kirksville on a magical ride to a district championship and a berth in the Class 4 quarterfinals this season. She is a tenacious offensive player who plays the game in attack mode. She loves to get into the lane and she will seek contact at any opportunity. She is a very good finisher in the lane through that contact. She also has a nice float game along with 3-point range. She averaged 20 points a game en route to earning Class 4 All-State honors.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1113090' first='Kayla' last='Hamilton'] (Hollister): A 5'10" guard who is an excellent young prospect in the SWMO area. She is a good athlete who has the height and skill level to cause matchup problems. She is a good offensive player in the lane who operates well off of two feet. She can also shoot it from long distance. As a sophomore, she averaged 18.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.9 steals a game. She has already surpassed the 1,000-point plateau in her career.</p>
