As we have reached July, I will be landing in my territory for the next month, looking at several of the key kids in Southwest Ohio, with the next two weeks looking at some of the 2021s that will shine on the court.
Some have already landed homes after high school, others are looking for the right place. Coaches can’t go wrong with the kids in this area. Enjoy a look at some stellar seniors this week.

Bree is the top senior in Ohio, and has all the tools to compete at any college in the country. The South Carolina recruit is explosive with the ball, can get by anyone to the rim to score. Elevates well, can score over any position. Has developed a strong perimeter game, which was all she needed.
Peyton Nation, 5-10 Springboro
A long kid who can play anywhere on the floor. Love the way she moves without the ball, sets herself up in good position to score. Excellent floor leader, good handles and a good perimeter shot. Has all the tools to put together a special senior season.
[player_tooltip player_id="32562" first="Amy" last="Velasco"], 5-6 Centerville
One of the most electrifying guards in the state, Amy is quick, has incredible handles with both hands, incredible passer and floor general for a Centerville team loaded with talent. On ball defense is next-level, very high basketball IQ.
[player_tooltip player_id="91065" first="Kylee" last="Sheppard"], 5-10 Cincinnati Roger Bacon
What can’t this girl do? In the open court, she can make any play. Can fly north-south and hit the open player cutting to the rim, or she can score either at the rim with either hand, or will drain the perimeter shot from anywhere. One of the smoothest players I have ever seen. Runs the show like a quarterback.
[player_tooltip player_id="159035" first="Quantaijah" last="Huffman"], 5-8 Trotwood Madison
Maybe the most under the radar kid in the district. What an athlete, love the way she takes command of a game. Will blast by you with speed, great body control, will finish at the rim or has the ability to bury a team from beyond the arc. Good head on her shoulders. Will be a big steal for someone.
