I have been in contact with the Head Coach of Game Seven Legacy U17 Blue, Darrelynn Dunn. Game Seven Legacy is based out of the Bloomington/Normal area. I asked coach Dunn to give me a synopsis of his program. Below are some notes about this talented team.

[player_tooltip player_id="123589" first="Abbey" last="Davis"] #4 Bloomington Central Catholic. 5”7 Guard - Abbey is a sharpshooter with extended range that can score from the outside, mid-range and get to the basket. She has an uncanny ability to constantly get herself open for a shot. Abbey averaged close to 10 ppg last year and her basketball instincts really showed on the defensive end averaging almost 3 steals per game.
Kassidy Patton #00 University High School. 5’11 Center - Kassidy is an old school, physical presence in the post. She can protect the paint and also hit a mid range jumper.
Alexis Noonan #24 University High School. 5”9 Guard/Forward - Coach Dunn calls Alexis the "Draymond Green" of this team. Alexis is a winning basketball player and the glue of this G7 Legacy team. She brings a wide variety of winning skills to the floor, including an ability to successfully rebound and distribute the basketball. Alexis was a Pool F All Star at the USJN in Indianapolis the weekend of June 21st as G7 won their pool.
Abbi Bode #22 Olympia High. 5’7 Guard. Another Pool F All Star at the USJN in Indianapolis the weekend of June 21st, Abbi is a complete player. She can defend at a high level, usually guarding the top guard on the other team. She is a high percentage shooter, which Coach Dunn believes is her best skill.
Lauren Strange #5 Bloomington High. 5’10 Forward - Lauren can really shoot the ball and that, mixed with her length and ability to create in the pick and roll, make her a nightmare match up on that end of the floor. Lauren was a Big 12 Second Team All Conference player last year.
Abby Cox #52 Bloomington Central Catholic. 5”11 Center - With averages around 10ppg last year to go along with close to 2 blocks a game, Abby brings great skills to the court. She has good hands and can knock down a mid range jumper with the best of them. The 2 blocks a game also prove that Abby is a strong post defender and can be an anchor on that end of the floor.
Kayla Kodat #10 Dwight High School. 5’9 Combo Guard - A versatile athlete than can play all 5 spots on the floor, Kayla is a scorer. She averaged over 17ppg last year while also pulling down almost 8reb per game. A very unselfish player, Kayla was also a Pool F All Star at the USJN in Indianapolis the weekend of June 21st.
Madison Kinkade Prairie Central. 5’9 Forward. A extremely high motor player, stats don’t do Madison’s game justice. Another winning basketball player for G7, Madison really shines on the defensive end. She can defend both guards and posts.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Class of 2022</strong></span>
Naomi Elliott #12 University High. 5’7 Guard. A strong, vocal leader with good handles, Naomi shines on the defensive end. Coach Dunn calls her a "lockdown defender". A two sport athlete, Naomi also competes in Track & Field.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Class of 2023</strong></span>
Chloe Sisco #19 Prairie Central High School. 5’6 - If she is open, Chloe’s jumper is going in. She shoots with a high percentage and can knock down the 3 from very deep. She can flat out shoot the basketball.
Katy Ramage #23 Metamora High School. 5’9 Point Guard - A multi sport athlete who also plays volleyball and softball, Katy is a pure "athlete". The MVP at the Ottawa Holiday Tournament, Katy has a 28 inch vertical, the ability to defend all 5 positions and can score in a wide variety of ways. She can shoot the 3, hit the mid range jumper and get to the rim finishing with both hands. She can also distribute the ball at a high level. Coach Dunn believes that Katy is a Division 1 player when her High School career concludes.
Katie Barger #13 Bloomington High School. 5’7 Point Guard - A guard with a very bright future, Coach Dunn believes that Katie can become a strong defender. Injured most of last season, Katie is improving her skill set each and every day.
Mariya Sisco #20 Prairie Central. 5’7 - Mariya brings toughness and edge to the team to go along with a good jump shot. She is a tough defender as well.
