Mia Galbraith Mia Galbraith 5'10" | SG Lake Travis | 2023 State TX -5’10 (AD Elite-Team Peterson) Lake Travis HS
Galbraith turns corners every time I see her and using her size to create mismatches is the newest one but she also can create her shot while being tightly defended and her mid to long is one of the most consistent in her class. She also is attacking that basket with more authority and finishing with contact
Shanel Reid-5’10 (Cy Fair Elite 15U National Bush) Austin HS
Reid has a powerful jumper in fact everything she does is powerful be it attacking the rim and finishing or rebounding on both ends of the court but watching her elevate with players hanging on her is something to see and with her range, numerous 4 point opportunities are in her future
Gisella Maul Gisella Maul 5'10" | SG Cedar Park | 2023 State TX -5’10 (Cy Fair Elite 17U Warren) Cedar Park HS
Maul has so many ways to score even I can’t keep up with them but her slight hesitation is being “mastered” as she understands how to get the defense to lean and when you can shoot it from NBA range, consistent and with a quick release or defy gravity going to the rim…
Kierra Merchant Kierra Merchant 5'10" | CG Westfield | 2023 State TX -5’10 (Cy Fair Premier 17U) Spring HS
Merchant can score fluidly and in the flow and before you know it, she has double digits but her stop and pop in transition or attacking the basket strong still are her “go to” ways of scoring but she plays the passing lane, that leads to baskets and has a nice step back
Ashley Sidman-5’10 (HG Elite 2023) Keller HS
Sidman is heady and plays within herself and she does a very good job of creating her shot under pressure but her midrange game is definitely an eye-opener and it goes well with her attacking the basket strongly because it keeps defenders guessing. She also anticipates well on defense, numerous steals
Alexis Cortez Alexis Cortez 5'10" | SF Allen | 2023 State TX -5’10 (Lady Drive Nation 16U National) Allen HS
Cortez has gone from #D1Lock a year ago to a legitimate Mid to BCS player because she’s so under control going to the basket, playing the passing lane, and hitting the jumper and that sequence is what she does repeatedly, score, steal, pull-up and with her strength and athleticism, she applies heat on defense as well
Zeryhia Lee-Aokuso 5’10 (Pro Skills 16U-Black) Amarillo HS
Lee-Aokuso is a warrior in so many ways so let me set the stage. She played with a broken right hand, that’s her shooting hand but her mindset is you can’t stop my left and she was right, no pun intended, and as this will turn out to be a blessing in disguise because she definitely hard to stop with just the right, all bets are off
Maddie Heiss-5’10 (Texas U 15U GUAA) Highland Park HS
Heiss has good size and plays within herself yet she also understands how to get hers in the flow on her young and talented team but watching her attack the rim from multiple angles was good yet watching her shoot it was even better and when she was “catching and shooting” while being defended, YESSSSSS
