[player_tooltip player_id="158543" first="Donovyn" last="Hunter"] 2023 5’10" PG Cal Stars/South Medford HS - Donovyn started for the Stars with the absence of [player_tooltip player_id="163093" first="Talana" last="Lepolo"], as she played a pivotal role in the Stars’ success, one that makes the right passes and reads and plays good on-ball defense. She finished with 4 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in an all-out performance as she has shown straides and confidence playing in the starting role for the Stars as a controlled and smooth point guard. [player_tooltip player_id="103555" first="Marley" last="Langi"] 2021 6’0" SF Cal Stars/Archbishop Mitty HS - Marley was the highly skilled and suave forward that we have all come to know, hitting shots from the perimeter and displaying some intricate footwork in the post. She continued to show her ability to grab the rebound and play some point forward as she is highly fluid and can play all 94 feet of the floor. Contribute 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in a consistent mark of her game. Makena Mastora 2021 5’9" SG Cal Stars/St Joseph Notre Dame HS - Mastora returned for the Stars after missing out in Minnesota, playing her simple but effective game as she contributed an 11 point, 2 assist effort for the Stars, sinking three three-pointers out of the five that she attempted. We have come to know that she is an efficient shooter that doesn’t press the issue as well as an agile defender who comes ready to play when the lights are on. [player_tooltip player_id="158475" first="Audrey" last="Roden"] 2021 5’9" SG Cal Stars/West Linn HS - Roden was matched up against some familiar adversaries in that of Oregon Elite 17U Gold, players that she has played against throughout the past several years. She reminded everyone of what she does best - in that of an aggressive defender that is lightning quick, a capable finisher at the rim, and an overall well put together player. She had 12 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 8 steals in a masterful performance. [player_tooltip player_id="103658" first="Calli" last="Stokes"] 2021 5’11" SG Cal Stars/Redondo Union HS - The best part about Calli’s game is that she can score without any plays run for her by simply taking the ball up the court and using her skill and savviness to get a bucket for her team. She had a play where she took the ball up the court and hit a shot on the baseline over the defender that was simply amazing. The Gonzaga commit is a polished product that looks ready. Had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. [player_tooltip player_id="158473" first="Aaronette" last="Vonleh"] 2021 6’3" C Cal Stars/West Linn HS - Aaronette started her efforts early in the game, as she bulldozed her way into the paint and made her presence felt. She had several prolific rebounds during the game, reaching up and grabbing the ball over several defenders. This is the very reason why the Arizona Wildcats have made her a priority. She finished with 9 points and 11 rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id="158474" first="Addison" last="Wedin"] 2021 5’11" SG Cal Stars/La Salle HS - A skill that Wedin has shown within the last few tournaments is the ability to roll up her sleeves and go to work in the low post for the Stars. We all know that she can shoot it (older sister Taycee set the WCC single season three-point mark), but when she isn’t doing that she is playing aggressive in the paint. Addi was grabbing boards and had a nice hook shot in the paint. Had 4 points, 4 rebound, 2 assists, and 2 steals for the Stars. [player_tooltip player_id="189641" first="Jordan" last="Allred"] 2021 5’8" SG Cal Stars/Miramonte HS - The Idaho signee showed some offensive versatility as someone who can score with her skill and size in the paint, and do a little bit of everything out on the floor. She is also an excellent facilitator who is unselfish and makes some timely passes to her teammates. A savvy floor general who can play with any combination of players out on the floor and make them that much more consistent. Had 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.
