These players impact the game with their ability to put points on the board. These players bring toughness to both ends but thrive on the offensive end.
Paige Werner | Next Level Grind | 6’0 PF | 2022
Werner is an athletic power forward who could also play a wing for both her grassroots and high school team. She has a great shooting range for her size as well. She moves well without the ball and has great athleticism. She gets up the floor well and is always making the pass easy for her guards. She seals well and is an offensive rebounding specialist. She is powerful inside and has a high upside for her in and out game.
Ali Sprangers | Wisconsin Legends | 6’1 F | 2022
Sprangers has a great skill set for her size and has a mature feel for the game. She’s fantastic on the block- specifically, her footwork is very advanced. The defender is left guessing what she’s going to do when the ball gets down low. She has the potential to o a drop step, hook shot, or fade-away all from the block, and she’s improving at all of them. Sprangers can also step outside and knock down midrange and three point shots; this is a skill set that is imperative for the modern day forward. She even has impressive handles and could push the break and not be frazzled.
Jordana Reisma Jordana Reisma 6'2" | SF Brown Deer | 2022 State WI | Wisconsin Flight Elite | 5’6 G | 2022
Peppler is a highly athletic guard best known for her highlight passes and crafty finishes at the rim. She is a consistent outside shooter, but very effective in the midrange. She has great movement off the ball which is a very underrated attribute. She is able to create shot opportunities by moving without the ball, and this drives defenders crazy. She has a very effective pump fake- one that is mechanical and believable. She uses this fake to get past the first defender and shoot a pull up or a floater in the lane. A highly talented Peppler will thrive at the next level as her basketball IQ is so high. She is committed to UW Milwaukee.
Julia Danes | Wisconsin RAP | 5’5 G | 2022
Danes could certainly transform into a prolific scorer for her Wisconsin Rap and Franklin squad- her upside is high and her feel for the game continues to evolve. A confident guard who is a three point sharpshooter, Danes ability to bring points to the scoreboard doesn’t go unnoticed. She has great speed on her release and ability to read the flow of the game before taking over offensively. She can be a disruptive defender as well; she has quick and active hands, and most importantly, she moves her feet when guarding. She’s not the strongest player, but because she slides her feed, the offensive player is forced to adjust her shot or five. She does well creating opportunities for herself within the offense as well.
