These players have shown glimpse of greatness in their film this summer playing with Team Wisconsin 2023. Each one of these players have high ceilings for success in the years to come with Team Wisconsin as well as their high school squads.
Lily Truchon | Team Wisconsin 2023 | 6’0 W/F
Truchon is extremely dynamic and can do a little bit of everything for her squad. Offensively, she is strong on the block and uses her body to score close to the rim. She does well holding the seal and then quickly releasing to knock down the shot. At her size, Truchon’s drive to the basket is extremely impressive. She will bring the ball up the court and drive in for a lay up effortlessly. She is a confident ball handler that does well attacking off the dribble- she finishes with crafty moves as well.
Braylee Hyatt | Team Wisconsin 2023 | 5’8 G
Hyatt became a very important role player this season for Team Wisconsin. A force on both ends, Hyatt brings a great energy to the floor. She’s an uptempo guard that thrives off her ability to impact defensively. A high pressure defender who uses her feet well to turn the opponent and force turnovers. She does a great job anticipating the deflection and finishing at the other end. She attacks the basket well and can handle the ball well with both hands. She knocks down the perimeter shot with consistency as well.
Abby Thompson Abby Thompson 5'6" | CG Blair- Taylor | 2023 WI | Team Wisconsin 2023 | 5’6 PG
Abby gets the job done from the perimeter. She has a quick release and can knock it down from deep. She sets up her shot very fast and has good footwork off the pass. She is confident with the ball in her hands. She moves well without the ball and has great vision when finding her open teammates cutting in the lane. She pushes the ball in transition and finishes strong against pressure. A solid rebounder for her size, Thompson isn’t afraid to use her body and grab offensive boards.
Kierstyn Kindschy | Team Wisconsin 2023 | 5’7 G
The 5’7 guard is a fun player to watch as she brings a high tempo to this squad. Her eye for the game is high and she knows her role within the offense. She cuts well without the ball and always has her feet set to knock down a three point basket. Most comfortable shooting from the wing area, Kindschy has added to her shot selection late season. She cuts well without the ball and is often grabbing rebounds and chasing down long rebounds as well. She doesn’t shy away from contact and often draws fouls from her power in the lane. Her shot is composed and patient on the perimeter which will really make her a standout shooter in high school play.
Eleice Dahl | Team Wisconsin 2023 | 5’8 G
Dahl is a great three way scorer for her Team Wisconsin squad. She can score at all areas on the floor and does not shy away from the opportunity to add points to the board. She has an effective ball fake and attack that always catches defenders off guard. She does a great job chinning the ball and being strong on the perimeter then attacking with a quick first step. She’s become a great three point shooter and impacts the game with her range. She has a good feel for the game and it shows through her ability to see the floor. She cuts well, screens well and moves well without the ball in her hands. A pass first player for sure, Dahl impacts the game with her ability to get her teammates involved and know when to take over offensively.
