College Coaches need to checkout some of these ladies that might be playing off the grid or just being under recruited. The Palmetto State 2021 is loaded with talent. Read more about these players right here on Prep Girls Hoops. [player_tooltip player_id="171743" first="Chase" last="Hayes"] - Trinity Collegiate (Darlington) Hayes is back over at the SCISA Class 3A school this year after playing at nearby Wilson HS last year. Hayes can really rebound the ball well in the paint. Hayes played along side [player_tooltip player_id="124043" first="Loyal" last="McQueen"] (Georgia Tech) a signee a year ago. Hayes averaged 10 ppg and 10.4 rebounds last season. Hayes doesn’t mind playing on contact in the paint and brings a competitive edge to the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="175330" first="Jalani" last="Adams"] - Mauldin HS Adams helped the Lady Mavericks (13-12) last season. Adams a 1st Team All-Region Performer last season eclipsed the 1,000 career points on February 11, 2020. Adams might not be big in size but is huge in heart and determination in the paint. Adams finishes around the cup and leaves it all out on the floor. Adams averaged 21 ppg and 12 rebounds last season for the Lady Mavericks. [player_tooltip player_id="188008" first="La’Destiny" last="Worthy"] - Clover HS Worthy can step-out and knockdown the 3 ball from time to time. Worthy and Blue Eagles lost last season in the Class 5A State Championship to Goose Creek HS. Worthy plays with [player_tooltip player_id="124069" first="Aylesha" last="Wade"] #1 Player in the Palmetto State 2021 Class who has already committed to Charlotte. [player_tooltip player_id="171746" first="A’Yonna" last="Young"] - Crestwood HS (Dalzell) Young moves well around the floor working block to block. Young needs to get more touches and demand the ball more at times while posting up. [player_tooltip player_id="175306" first="Jayla" last="Mosley"] - Legacy Early College (pictured on the front) Mosley will wear the purple and gold this season after transferring in from nearby Hillcrest HS. Mosley a left-handed post player is extremely active in the paint. Mosley seems to do her best work around the paint even though she can step-out and hit a 15-17 footer from time to time. Mosley picks up a lot of deflections on the defensive end of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="177709" first="Nyla" last="Jackson"] - Ridge View HS Jackson is the older sister to Greg Jackson #1 player in the 2023 Palmetto State Class. Jackson plays along side to [player_tooltip player_id="124070" first="Laila" last="Acox"] (East Carolina Commit). Jackson grabbed 6.8 rebounds last season for the Lady Blazers. [player_tooltip player_id="172050" first="Satoya" last="Martin"] - Military Magnet (North Charleston) Martin helped her team get to the Class 1A State Championship Game last season vs High Point Academy. Martin glides over the floor and plays with her back to the basket. Martin still needs at times to play a bit more aggressive. Martin is back to provide senior leadership for a very Eagles squad who finished (22-6) last season.
