2021: Off the Grid Shooting Guards

The Palmetto State sure does have a lot to offer a college program for the next level. Checkout some of these ladies that might just be Off the Grid bit in the 2021 class right here on Prep Girls Hoops.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="173104" first="Tonaja" last="Lester"] - Marion HS (pictured on the front)</strong>
Lester has had a good summer playing on the AAU circuit with A’ja Wilson Elite - Waiters. Lester has been a key member of the Lady Swamp Foxes success over the past few years. Lester is generally shot ready to receive the ball and shoots the ball at a good clip from 17-19 feet. Lester averaged 12.2 ppg last season for the Lady Swamp Foxes. The Lady Swamp Foxes ran into a very talented Keenan HS Raiders team last year in the Class 3A State Championship Game.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="194862" first="Najah" last="Gilliam"] - Byrnes HS (Duncan) </strong>
Gilliam plays for Head Coach Missy Fowler on the Lady Rebels roster. Gilliam averaged 10.9 ppg and 3.3 rebounds last season. Gilliam is a tough minded player with her ability to attack the basket. Gilliam can finish on the break in transition quite well. Gilliam really likes to gamble on the defensive end at times.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="172489" first="Oksana" last="Lathan"] - Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) </strong>
Lathan plays up in Kershaw County for the Lady Volunteers. Last season Oksana averaged 10.8 pgg, 4.9 rebounds and 3.2 steals on the way to a (22-3) season. Lathan is back to join forces with [player_tooltip player_id="175322" first="Tamia" last="Watkins"] (2025). Lathan can drive the ball to the basket or knockdown the perimeter jumper when needed. Lathan also enjoys running track.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175351" first="Alexis" last="Johnson"] - Bethune-Bowman HS </strong>
Johnson averaged 13.4 ppg last season for the Lady Mohawks. Johnson plays over in Orangeburg County at a small Class 1A school.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175342" first="Jaliyah" last="Bussey"] - Ridge Spring - Monetta HS </strong>
Bussey a left-handed guard has been on the varsity for 6 years now for Head Coach Gail Johnson. Bussey averaged 11.8 ppg, 5.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.6 steals last season. Bussey shot 46% (108-234) from the floor last season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171735" first="Olivia" last="Schuller"] - Socastee HS (Myrtle Beach)</strong>
Schuller played her first season last year with the Lady Braves. Schuller moved into the Grand Strand via from Mississippi. Schuller averaged 8.7 ppg and 6.2 rebounds last season while shooting 38% (76-200) from the floor.
